5) Halls of Pain Help<br />
a) How do I get Here?<br />
The Halls of Pain are located in the Secret Meadow of the Lost Woods.<br />
If you need directions, see Section B Question 15.<br />
b) How do I get Around in Here?<br />
One initial platform jump can be done by running into a wall with the<br />
Pegasus Boots. Propelling yourself with bombs must do the rest.<br />
You need enough hearts, 10 is a good number, and potions are helpful too.<br />
c) What is There to Gain in Here and Where is it?<br />
There are two prizes, both of which should be gotten as soon as possible,<br />
The Cane of Byrna is the first prize and a gigantic help in the future,<br />
and you will not be able to return to the 1st World for a while. The<br />
second is a key for the Parallel Tower. The first is in the upper-left<br />
hand area, the second is straight up from the entrance.<br />

1) General<br />
a) What is the Suggested Order to do the Dungeons? What is Required to<br />
Complete each Dungeon?<br />
The creators have conflicting suggestions. The game suggests you do Rauru<br />
then Ruto, and do Ruto before you have the item from Saria required for<br />
it!<br />
Euclid suggests you do “Impa/Darunia/Rauru -> Nabooru -> Sheik -> Saria<br />
Ruto.” I disagree, Sheik is one of the hardest, and the prize from<br />
Ruto should be gotten earlier. My suggestion is how I have ordered the<br />
Dungeons in this FAQ (Impa, Darunia, Saria, Ruto, Rauru, Nabooru, and<br />
then Sheik.) It’s also best to do this order if you want to climb<br />
Parallel Tower (the first time at least) as soon as possible, which,<br />
(SPOILERS!)<br />
is necessary to return to the First World.<br />
b) What is Required to Complete each Dungeon?<br />
The only dungeon that really requires an item from another Icy World<br />
dungeon is Ruto’s Fortress. You must have completed Saria’s Gardens to<br />
finish it (or at least obtained the treasure).<br />
In Darunia’s Cavern the Mirror Shield and/or Cane of Byrna are a big plus.<br />
It is unlikely you will obtain the Mirror Shield before Darunia’s Cavern,<br />
however.<br />
Parallel Tower requires the items from Darunia’s Cavern and Saria’s<br />
Gardens. If you require further information about what is needed for<br />
Parallel Tower see Section B Question 16.<br />
