Scandinavian Environmental Label
Svanen – the swan – is a Scandinavian environmental label, and at the same
time Denmark’s official environmental label. You will find it on a large number
of other products from the Nordic countries.
Most Varde wood stoves have the Swan environmental label. We were the
first to be awarded the Swan environmental label, therefore we have been
working to these requirements longer than others and ensures:
l reduced particle and carbon emissions
l that you are not adding to the greenhouse effect by choosing wood as a fuel
l that your wood stove is highly efficient
l and that your wood stove is free of heavy metals
