in Jolly Old England, but in present day New England. The Hickory Dickory Inn<br />
is filled with guests, held hostage <strong>by</strong> a giant snowstorm. Each character has a<br />
unique story to tell. Who will be <strong>the</strong> one to check out first?<br />

Extolling <strong>the</strong> strength of Sou<strong>the</strong>rn Womanhood, <strong>the</strong> story also became a wellloved<br />
movie. The play is set in a small town beauty shop, a ga<strong>the</strong>ring place in joy<br />
and in grief. Come and meet Truvy, Annelle, Clairee, M’Lynn and Ouiser. They<br />
are witty, smart, and real characters. You probably know women just like <strong>the</strong>m.<br />

One of Simon’s early great comedies. It opened on Broadway in 1963 and ran<br />
for 1,530 performances. With a biographical bent, it tells <strong>the</strong> story of young New<br />
York newlyweds, <strong>the</strong> early days of <strong>the</strong>ir marriage, and <strong>the</strong> challenges of a third<br />
floor apartment. An audience pleaser and a second time at FSLT.<br />

In 19th century England, marriage is <strong>the</strong> ultimate game. This romantic comedy<br />
is about a wealthy young woman who is so busy playing matchmaker that she<br />
never sees into her own heart. A true classic based on <strong>the</strong> Jane Austen favorite.<br />

This celebrated American drama takes <strong>the</strong> audience behind <strong>the</strong> scene of a<br />
“locked in” jury room, in which a dozen unacquainted men debate and delve<br />
into “reasonable doubt” in a capital murder crime trial. A rush to judgment is not<br />
good judgment, but it made a powerful play and a famous movie.<br />

A tale told in <strong>the</strong> 1954 movie starring Bing Cros<strong>by</strong> and Danny Kaye. A pair of<br />
W.W.II veterans put on tap shoes and find success centerstage. When <strong>the</strong>y join<br />
forces with two singing sisters, Cupid reaches for an arrow. But first <strong>the</strong>y all<br />
work to save <strong>the</strong>ir former general’s Vermont inn while jingle bells ring.<br />
