807.4.5 Group F-1 motion picture and television production studio sound stages, approved production<br />

facilities and production locations without live audiences.<br />

807.4.5.1 Foam plastics, decorations, textile and film materials. Foam plastics, textile and film materials and<br />

o<strong>the</strong>r decorative materials and materials containing foam plastics shall be in accordance with <strong>the</strong> following:<br />

1. Exhibit booth construction shall have a maximum heat-release rate <strong>of</strong> 100 kilowatts when tested in accordance<br />

with U.L. 1975.<br />

2. Decorative objects, including but not limited to mannequins, murals and signs, shall have a maximum heat-release<br />

rate <strong>of</strong> 150 kilowatts when tested in accordance with U.L. 1975.<br />

CHAPTER 9<br />

FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS<br />

901.4.1 Required fire protection systems. <strong>Fire</strong> protection systems required by this code or <strong>the</strong><br />

International<strong>California</strong> Building Code shall be installed, repaired, operated, tested and maintained in accordance with<br />

this code.<br />

901.4.2 Nonrequired fire protection systems. Any fire protection system or portion <strong>the</strong>re<strong>of</strong> not required by this code<br />

or <strong>the</strong> International<strong>California</strong> Building Code shall be allowed to be furnished for partial or complete protection provided<br />

such installed system meets <strong>the</strong> requirements <strong>of</strong> this code and <strong>the</strong> International<strong>California</strong> Building Code.<br />

901.6.1 Standards. <strong>Fire</strong> protection systems shall be inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with <strong>the</strong><br />

referenced standards listed in Table 901.6.1 and Chapters 3 and 5, Title 19 <strong>California</strong> Code <strong>of</strong> Regulations, Title 19,<br />

Division 1, Chapters 3 and 5.<br />
