SITUATION: <strong>Boehill</strong> is well placed between the villages of Uplowman and Sampford<br />

attend the school.<br />

Tiverton is an historic market town and has a wealth of amenities including both<br />

private and state schooling, many shops, banks and building societies and<br />

supermarkets, recently built hospital, sports centre and swimming pool and 18-hole<br />

golf course. Blundell’s independent school offers discounts for local pupils.<br />

Exeter, Taunton and Wellington, with wider facilities, are an easy driving distance.<br />

DESCRIPTION: <strong>Boehill</strong> is an attractive former <strong>Manor</strong> and farmhouse, which is<br />

mentioned in the Domesday Book, and was formerly part of the Sandford estate.<br />

The original building is to the rear, with the present south facing front elevation added<br />

at the end of the 18th century.<br />

It is approached over a private macadamed drive. A path leads through an arched<br />

wall to a cobbled former courtyard, to a wide timber and glazed front door.<br />

THE HOUSE<br />

The house has rendered and colour washed elevations under a slate roof with inset<br />
