eat less and you will stop feeling hungry quicker and for longer.
Obesimed ® Forte absorbs hundreds of times its own weight in water within 30 minutes to an hour. When the capsule has dissolved,
it expands in the stomach to become a highly viscous gel. It creates a pleasant feeling of fullness therefore, users feel
they are satiated after a smaller meal. After the meal, the gel matrix mixes with food. This will not only postpone appetite but it
will also slow digestion.
High-quality active ingredients
Obesimed ® Forte contains a combination of the polysaccharides Omtec19 ® and OmtecX ® . It is a unique novel mixture of carefully
selected, high-viscous, soluble fi bres. They have a synergetic interaction and attain a viscosity and expansion with water
that is three times as high when compared to the same quantity of the individual fi bres. Obesimed ® Forte has the strongest gelforming

Reducing appetite
Scientifi c research has now shown that there is a link between blood sugar and our appetite. If the blood sugar level spikes and
drops several times in a day, the person will tend to eat too much. This can lead to being overweight. A low blood sugar level
will increase appetite. Blood sugar is important to health because everybody needs the correct amount of glucose (sugar) in their
blood for energy management and ensuring physical functions are maintained. Too little blood sugar is, in fact, an “emergency
situation” for the brain that will respond by making us feel hungry. Our bodies will restore blood glucose to a suitable level by
eating; at least until the next blood glucose dip again triggers our appetite. People with an unbalanced blood sugar level fi nd it

amended by MDD 2007/47/EC. Obesimed ® Forte is produced in accordance with quality standards ISO 13485: 2003 for medical

The science behind Obesimed ® Forte
Clinical tests have shown different favourable physiological effects with regard to fi bre viscosity increase such as a reduced appetite,
signifi cant weight loss, improved bowel movement and reduced blood serum cholesterol. It was also repeatedly shown
in these clinical tests that blood glucose spikes drop after a meal when viscous soluble fi bres increase in food. This is due to the
fact that food absorption by the body is delayed as the viscosity of the food mass is increased.
Obesimed ® Forte reduces the blood glucose spike after a meal by about 20% and, therefore, it also reduces insulin secretion.
Scientists have also discovered that Obesimed ® Forte can keep appetite at bay to such an extend due to the very high viscosity
