edition of the newsletter
just for Snow Belt
Division Circle K’ers: The
Snow Globe! My name
is Richelle Pittella, and I
am the district governor
for Pennsylvania.
Why am I writing this to
you instead of your
lieutenant governor?
Well, the Snow Belt
Division currently does
not have anyone to fill
this role. But don’t worry – you will still have divisional events,
constant
communication, and a voice on the district board via
yours truly!
It’s my biggest personal goal to make sure that all divisions are
represented by lieutenant governors in the 2011 – 2012 year,
so if you are a current freshman, sophomore, or junior who may
be interested in stepping up to the plate in the new year, feel
free to contact me! I would love to tell you more about the ins
and outs of the position and explain just how the district board
functions.
In the mean time, I hope you’ll find me to be a great resource
for you as we all work to strengthen northwestern Pennsylvania
through service, leadership, and fellowship!

InterPACK
October 22 nd – 24 th
: Camp Manatawny, Douglassville
This is the PACK’s biggest and best fall
district event! Come for a weekend
with eight hours of service, a bonfire,
a dance,
fellowship,
great
and
food, tons of
much more!
Registration is just $35 per person,
which includes lodging, meals, a tshirt,
and other goodies. All
paperwork should be in by October
1
st to avoid late fees. The registration
packet can be found at

November 7 th , Location TBD
The first ever divisional event for Snow
Belt will be held on this day! I am
looking to hold this event in the center
of the division. The fall rally will
include some service, fellowship, food,
and fun! Once everything is
confirmed, you will receive an
invitation with all of the details. In the
mean time, keep this date open!

NEW DUES SYSTEM DECODED
Don’t get the new dues change that goes into effect soon? Never fear! If
the following explanation is too confusing, please feel free to get in touch
with me or our District Treasurer Phil Maconi at treasurer@pacirclek.org.
In the past, Circle K’ers would each pay $25 for
international dues and $9 for district dues to be officially
considered a member. This will be changing this year.
To be considered “active,” each club must pay the
following dues and fees on an annual basis:
1. International Club Fee: This is paid instead of
the $25/member mentioned above.
a. If your college/university has 1,000+
students enrolled, your club fee is $600.
b. If your college/university has less than
1,000 students enrolled and/or you are in a
2-year institution, your club fee is $450.
2. District Dues: Clubs will pay for $9 per member
for at least fifteen members (if your college or
university has more than 1,000 students enrolled)
or ten members (if your college or university has
less than 1,000 students enrolled and/or you are
in a 2-year institution).
You will be able to submit your dues and fees starting
October 1 st, and they must be in by December 1 st . You
will receive all the information you need from CKI such as
your club ID and password in the near future.
Another change is that no partial payments will be
accepted. The minimum membership requirements must
be met or the club is considered inactive and would have
to pay a $100 reactivation fee. If inactive for 5+ years,
the club will lose its charter.
