Lubrication
Geared motors / Gear units are supplied without oil. Before putting into operation, ensure that the gear units are filled to correct
oil level with proper grade of lubricating oil. (All bearings of electric motors and the bearings used at the output shaft extension
end and in the adaptor flange at the input side are grease filled at our factory and need not require any further grease filling at
the time of commissioning).

appropriate oil quantity for different sizes and mounting positions are also given in the accompanying table. (The actual required
quantity may vary and customers are advised to pour the required quantity of oil unitl the oil flows out of the oil level plug hole)

2) For other extreme ambient conditions / service conditions, use of oil with different viscosity grade or use
of synthetic lubricants may become necessary. Customers are requested to refer such specific cases to
us along with all relevent details.
