Underworld
The Greek mythology
The Greeks believed in
a family of gods who
lived on Olympic
Mountains, and were
led by Zeus. These gods
were powerful and
immortal, but had the
same qualities of good
and evil ordinary men.
Messages from the gods
were obtained from
oracles; the most
famous was at Delphi.
Games were held in
honour of the gods, the
most famous being held
at Olympia every four
years.
