The Wonder Routes 

Route 1 – Top of the World Route 

5 Top of 7th Heaven 

Directions from Whistler mountain 

1 

Top of WhiSTler peak – Go up 

the Whistler Village Gondola to the 

Roundhouse Lodge. From there, head right 

towards the Peak Express Chairlift and ride 

the lift to Whistler Peak. 

2 

Top of Symphony – From the 

Whistler Peak, travel left down Matthews 

Traverse to Burnt Stew Trail and Jeff’s 

Ode-to-Joy to the bottom of Symphony Express. 

Travel up the chair to Piccolo Summit.

Top of harmony – From Piccolo 

Summit, travel down Jeff’s Ode-to Joy and 

connect back to Burnt Stew trail to the Harmony 

Express Chairlift and travel up the chair to the 

top of Harmony.

peak 2 peak gondola – From the 

top of Harmony, travel down Pika’s Traverse to 

the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola and take the gondola 

to Blackcomb mountain.

Top of 7Th heaven – On Blackcomb, 

take Express Way to the bottom of 7th Heaven 

Express Chairlift and take the chairlift to the top 

of 7th Heaven.

Spanky’s into Ruby Bowl 2 


Route 2 – The Steeps Sampler 

1 Couloir Extreme 

Directions from BlackcomB mountain 

1 

couloir exTreme – Start at 

the top of 7th Heaven and head left 

to the top of the Couloir Extreme. 

The main entrance to this run is just 

below the summit. Once finished, 

take Jersey Cream run to the bottom 

of Glacier Express Chairlift and take 

the lift up.

Spanky’S ladder inTo 

ruBy BoWl – At the top of Glacier 

Express, offload to the left and 

traverse to the bottom of the 

Spanky’s Ladder boot pack to hike 

to the main entrance to Spanky’s. 

Garnet Bowl to Ruby Bowl is the 

main route down, but the steepest 

way is to take the high traverse on 

the left.

peak 2 peak gondola 

– After skiing Ruby Bowl, travel down 

the Blackcomb Glacier Road ski out 

and connect with Excelerator Express 

Chairlift. Take the lift up and travel 

down to Jersey Cream Chairlift which 

will drop you off next to the PEAK 2 

PEAK Gondola station. Travel on the 

gondola to Whistler Mountain.

Shale Slope – Now on Whistler 

Mountain, head right towards the 

Peak Express Chairlift and ride up. At 

Whistler Peak, the entrance to 

Whistler Bowl will be on your right as 

you get off the chair. Ski the main 

bowl and trend skier’s right to get on 

the lower traverse to the top of Shale 

Slope. Keep right down the run to 

minimize the hike at the bottom to get 

back to Peak Express Chair.

WeST cirque – Ride back up to 

Whistler Peak and take Upper Peak to 

Creek run to the right. Stay right and 

connect with the traverse road to the 

entrance of West Cirque. A small hike 

up will take you to the top.

Route 3 – Size Matters Route 

Top of Showcase T-bar 2 


1 

merlin’S Bar & grill – Start at Merlin’s 

Bar & Grill with a snack before heading up 

Wizard Express and Solar Coaster Express. 

Take Expressway to the bottom of 7th Heaven 

Express where you’ll take the lift to the top. 

Travel down on the Crystal Traverse to the 

bottom of the Showcase T-Bar. Take the T-Bar 

to the top to enter Blackcomb Glacier.

Top of ShoWcaSe T-Bar/ 

BlackcomB glacier – Travel down the 

Blackcomb Glacier and take the Blackcomb 

Glacier Road to Excelerator Express.

peak 2 peak gondola – From Excelerator, 

take Jersey Cream Express to the PEAK 2 PEAK 

Gondola and head over to Whistler Mountain.

1 Merlin’s Bar & Grill 

WhiSTler peak – From there, head 

towards the Peak Express Chairlift to Whistler 

Peak.

peak To creek – From Whistler Peak, 

wrap around the Peak to the right on Upper 

Peak-To-Creek run.

duSTy’S Bar & BBq – Continue past 

Highway 86 on your right and connect with 

Lower Peak-to-Creek where you’ll finish in 

Whistler Creekside next to Dusty’s Bar & BBQ.

Route 4 – Gold Medal Route 

Directions from Whistler mountain 

1 

roundhouSe olympic diSplay 

– This route starts inside the Roundhouse Lodge 

on Whistler Mountain looking at the Olympic 

Display inside the front doors. 

2 

men’S olympic doWnhill – From the 

Roundhouse Lodge, take Upper Whiskey Jack 

trail around the left side of the Lodge and 

pass Chic Pea Hut on your right further down 

the run. Head towards Orange Peel but before 

heading down the ski run, turn off to your 

right and access the Dave Murray Downhill, 

which was the Men’s Olympic Downhill and 

Super-G course.

olympic ringS – Ski the Dave Murray 

Downhill to the Timing Flats just above 

Whistler Creekside. Here you will find a sign 

indicating every gold medal winner from the 

2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 

along with the original Olympic rings when 

looking back up the mountain.

1 Roundhouse Olympic Display 

2 Men’s Olympic Downhill 

duSTy’S Bar & BBq – Finish off at Dusty’s 

Bar & BBQ with a celebratory drink.

Women’S olympic doWnhill – To 

extend your Gold Medal Route, head up the 

Creekside Gondola and Big Red Express and 

take Little Red Run to the top of Wild Card which 

was the Women’s Olympic Downhill and Super-G 

start. Follow Wild Card down and connect with 

Franz’s run which will take you down this 

alternate Olympic Course to Whistler Creekside.

Route 5 – Family Certified Route 

Rendezvous Nintendo Game Lounge 1 


1 

rendezvouS ninTendo game lounge 

– Start in the Rendezvous Lodge for a chance to 

experience the Nintendo Game Lounge.

magic caSTle – Take Expressway and 

then Easy Out and head to the Magic Castle. 

3 

peak 2 peak gondola – If your day 

is done, you can take Easy Out all the way down. 

Otherwise, grab a ride on Solar Coaster Express 

and connect with the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola for 

more fun on Whistler Mountain!

Magic Castle 2 

roundhouSe ninTendo game 

lounge – Once on Whistler, hit up the Nintendo 

Game Lounge in the Roundhouse Lodge.

chic pea huT – If you skipped the 

Roundhouse Lodge, the Chic Pea Hut is a great 

family friendly hut for a quick snack or full 

lunch. Located down Whiskey Jack.

Bear cuB – From Chic Pea Hut, head down 

Family Certified Pony Trail to Papoose, then 

down Bear Cub.

Tree forT – A little ways down Bear Cub, 

you’ll find the Tree Fort on your left.

Bear Cub and ride up Big Red Express and 

over to the Family Zone via Ego Bowl near the 

Emerald Express.

Chic Pea Hut 5 

enchanTed foreST – From here, you have 

two options. Enter the Enchanted Forest for 

glades and varied terrain, then head down to 

the Emerald Express Chair. Families can also 

access the Enchanted Forest via Upper Whiskey 

Jack to Pig Alley.

mini freeSTyle garden – Or, you can 

head down to the new Mini Freestyle Garden 

under the Emerald Chair to try out some 

features and berms.

Route 6 – Powder Stashes Route 

3 Arthur’s Choice 

Staircase & The Bite 2 

1 Upper Gear Jammer 

4 Lower Excelerator Zone

upper gear Jammer – Starting at 

the base of Blackcomb in the Upper 

Village, take Wizard Express and Solar 

Coaster Express Chairlifts to the 

Rendezvous Lodge. Take a right and head 

down Catskinner to Gear Jammer. Finish 

Gear Jammer and head back up Solar 

Coaster Express.

STaircaSe & The BiTe – Once back at 

the Rendezvous Lodge, take a left and 

traverse under the Jersey Cream Express 

Chairlift where you’ll have options to take 

Blowdown, Staircase and The Bite to the 

bottom of Jersey Cream Express.

arThur’S choice – Continue through 

the flats next to Jersey Cream Express and 

head down the upper section of Zig Zag to 

Crystal Chair. Upload Crystal Chair and take a 

left down Ridge Runner where you’ll meet your 

3rd Powder Stash, Arthur’s Choice. 

5 Expressway to Where’s Joe

loWer exceleraTor zone – Finish 

Arthur’s Choice and take a left on the 

Blackcomb Glacier Road to Excelerator 

Express chairlift. The trees around this lift 

offer additional powder stashes.

expreSSWay To Where’S Joe – Once 

up Excelerator Express Chairlift, head left to 

Jersey Cream Express and ride the lift to the 

top. Take a right and follow Expressway to 

your 5th Powder Stash where you’ll have the 

option to ski Raptor’s Ride, Where’s Joe, 

Watch Out and Yard Sale to Sunset Boulevard.

In Deep 9 

peak 2 peak gondola – Take Solar 

Coaster Express and hop on the PEAK 2 PEAK 

Gondola to access more powder stashes on 

Whistler Mountain.

Seppo’S – Once on Whistler Mountain, 

take Upper Whiskey Jack towards Seppo’s run.

chunky’S choice – Take Seppo’s to 

Ptarmigan and upload the Whistler Village 

Gondola at Olympic Station. Once at the top 

of the Whistler Village Gondola, take a left 

down Ratfink where you’ll have a choice of 

Dapper’s Delight and Chunky’s Choice.

in deep – In Deep offers more 

powder stashes and can be accessed 

from either Garbanzo Express or from 

the Roundhouse Lodge.
