The Department of <strong>To</strong>xic Substances Control (DTSC) reviewed Addendum No. 6 to the Master Work<br />
Plan/Field Sampling and Analysis Plan, Co-Located Chemical Soil Sampling at Area IV, Santa Susana Field<br />
Laboratory (SSFL), EPA Subareas 3, 5D South, 7, and 8 South, Soil Sampling (Addendum No. 6, CDM<br />
Federal Programs Corporation, September 2011). Addendum No. 6 supports field implementation of the<br />
soil sampling program described in the DTSC-approved Master Work Plan/Field Sampling and Analysis<br />
Plan (FSAP), Co-Located Chemical Sampling at Area IV, SSFL (CDM, 2011).<br />
The draft Addendum No. 6 was submitted to DTSC for review on August 31, 2011. Addendum No. 6 was<br />
revised to incorporate DTSC's <strong>com</strong>ments, and was resubmitted on September 13, 2011 for DTSC<br />
concurrence and approval. DTSC concurs with the revisions and approves the final Addendum No. 6 for<br />
implementation. Please note, EPA and DTSC are copied on this email for posting of this DTSC-approved<br />
Addendum No. 6 to their respective web sites.<br />
Due to the expedited schedule for preparation, review and implementation of the Addendum No. 6, the<br />
document may contain minor omissions or errors. If additional relevant information be<strong>com</strong>es available<br />
that warrants changes, and/or changes to the field implementation, or quality assurance efforts are<br />
made in the field, those changes shall be coordinated with DTSC, documented, and provided in the<br />
associated data report.<br />

Attached to this email is Addendum No. 6 to the Master Field Sampling Plan for the chemical co-located<br />
sampling in HSA Groups 3, 7, 8S, and 5DS. This addendum reflects the incorporation of all DTSC and<br />
stakeholder <strong>com</strong>ments from our meeting on August 17, 2011 with stakeholders. It also incorporates all<br />
of DTSC's additional <strong>com</strong>ments.<br />
If you concur and approve, please forward this Addendum to EPA for placement on their Sharepoint,<br />
place on DTSC's website and we will place on DOE's website.<br />
