OUR COACHES AND STAFF<br />
BRIAN COSGRIFF - Head Coach<br />
Coach Cos returns for an eighth season as head coach <strong>of</strong> the Royals . With over 20 years experience<br />
coaching basketball (8 for the <strong>Hopkins</strong> Boys' Program) he brings a tremendous commitment and work<br />
ethic to the girls' program . His record coaching the <strong>Hopkins</strong> girls basketball team is 184-25. Brian is a<br />
physical education teacher at Alice Smith Elementary and is married to Lori Komoto . They have one<br />
daughter, Brooke Collette, and a golden retriever named Duke .<br />
MIKE GIDLEY - Assistant Varsity Coach<br />
Mike Gidley is in his sixth year with the <strong>Hopkins</strong> girls basketball program . He had previously been a<br />
boys basketball assistant coach in Superior, WI, an AAU coach, and was the 9th grade boys coach at<br />
<strong>Hopkins</strong> . He is a teacher at Alice Smith Elementary . Mike and his wife, Anessa have a daughter, Liv,<br />
and a dog named Maxine .<br />
BRIAN FELL -Junior Varsity Coach<br />
Brian Fell returns to the coaching ranks this year at <strong>Hopkins</strong> . Brian was the head girls basketball<br />
coach at Osceola, WI for 7 seasons where his teams won 4 conference championships and 3 regional<br />
championships. Brian is the Assistant Athletic Director at <strong>Hopkins</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> .<br />
TIM SENSION - Sophomore Coach<br />
This is the second year for Tim Sension as the Sophomore coach . Tim brings 10 years <strong>of</strong> basketball<br />
coaching experience to <strong>Hopkins</strong> . He previously was the head boys basketball coach at Breck for 7<br />
seasons . Tim has also coached basketball teams at Watertown, Bethany Academy, and in AAU .<br />
Tim and his wife, Susan, a teacher at Minnetonka, recently moved to the city <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hopkins</strong> .<br />
