Technical Data<br />
The simple and reliable paddlewheel technology has been moved into this new<br />
<strong>MINIFLOW</strong> sensor type <strong>F3.10</strong>, designed for use with every kind of solid-free liquids.<br />
The sensor can measure flow from 0.25 m/s producing a frequency output signal<br />
highly repeatable. A rugged construction and a proven technology guarantee<br />
exceptional performances with little or no maintenance required. The very small<br />
dimension and a special design make it suitable for installation on <strong>FIP</strong> standard Teefittings<br />
up to DN50 (1.5 in.).<br />

The new F9.51 Batch Controller is design to improve the accuracy of liquid<br />
batching operations. The instrument always combines complex control<br />
capability with easy calibration and operation. A completely new development<br />
allows the customer to store up to 10 different batch parameters.<br />
With F9.51 is now possible to batch different volumes and different<br />
liquids in the same pipeline with the same accuracy and just using<br />
paddlewheel insertion flow sensors!<br />
The new programming solutions are able to reduce and simplify the autocalibration<br />
operation and the setting of different batch volumes.<br />
<strong>FLOWX3</strong> F9.51 is now one of the best cost effective solution for batching<br />
liquids.<br />
Up to 10 different K-factors auto-calculated and stored<br />
The 10 different batch volumes can be set and<br />
stored with the instrument in Batch-View Mode.<br />
After the first setting it is enough choosing the batch<br />
number (from 1 to 10) to get the instrument dosing<br />
the desired liquid volume with the calibration factor<br />
(k-factor) specifically calculated.<br />

The standard Auto-calibration function included in<br />
all FLS flow monitors and batch controllers has<br />
been slightly improved.<br />
The new F9.51 can automatically calculate and<br />
store the calibration factor related to each different<br />
batch volume.<br />
Every time a different batch operation is chosen,<br />
the associated K-factor will be automatically used<br />
by the F9.51 to guarantee the highest accuracy.

<strong>New</strong> ASEC software design<br />
<strong>Flow</strong>meter performances are related to many different features, sensor technology is one of the<br />
most important. The quality of the measure and mainly the linearity is affected by technical<br />
construction of the sensing device.<br />
The more the ratio between the real value and the measured value is constant the higher is the<br />
linearity of the device. A lack of linearity reduces significantly the accuracy of the measurement<br />
system.<br />
Our ASEC (Auto Systematic Error Compensation) project has been developed to<br />
study the systematic error of paddlewheel flow sensors and to offer advanced<br />
solutions increasing linearity and accuracy of our <strong>FLOWX3</strong> measuring system.<br />
All flow monitors and batch controllers will be<br />
equipped with the new ASEC design to<br />
increase accuracy and reliability of our<br />
paddlewheel insertion technology.<br />
On site calibration is offered to maximize<br />
potentialities of the new system.<br />

and calibrate your new FLS system as you<br />
have always done and…appreciate last<br />
developments and new performances<br />
