Additionally, students will examine the relationship between individual choices and the direct influence of these choices on occupational goals and future earnings potential. Economics stresses application, problem-solving, higher-order thinking skills, and use of classroom performance-based, open-ended assessments with rubrics. Economics is required by the Standards for Accreditation and does not require Arkansas Department of Education approval.
