II. Oil Brief Description 

The basic function of internal combustion engine oil includes the reduction of 

frication, lustration, cooling, pressurizing and anti-corrosion. 

1. Excellent oxidation stability, alleviating the probability of lacquer film and accumulated carbon. 

2. Fine lustration separating property. 

3. Good performance of viscidity of high temperature, and high viscosity index. 

4. Good performance of anti-corrosion, anti-frication and anti-foam. 

5. Fine performance of low temperature resistance. 

◆ internal combustion engine oil is easy to be aging and degenerating either due to the inleakage of water, 

coolant, fuel, smoking ash, carbon matter, or the absorption of dust and metal scraps and the dissoluble 

and infusible oxidation of itself. Using this sort of oil may make piston ring felt, oil way jam, corrosion and 

sedimentation increase and the abrasion process aggravate. Therefore, internal combustion engine oil 

must be treated in time to restore the oil’s performance, cut down the expense on oil purchasing and save 

oil resources.

also can be treated with regeneration by LYE series machines. 

IV.Product description 

LYE series oil recycling system mainly treats and recycles kinds of used mineral engine oil and mineral 

motor oil from car, motor, truck, ship, mines, electrical power and so on. 

It not only removes the impurities, water, and acid matter, organic and inorganic acid effectively, but also 

can remove carbon particulate matter and peroxides. In gas/diesel engine oil, bitumen and colloid and other 

sludge can be removed similarly. 

After treatment by the machines, the color of the treated oil is recovered and the quality indexes are 

improved too so as to resume the performance of gas/diesel engine oil, to keep the engine in good lubricating 

conditions, to guarantee lubricating system of gas/diesel engine to work properly and to prolong the service life 

of gas engine and oil, finally, to economize expense on oil purchasing and save oil resource. 

V. Features & Functions 

1. Adopting high-precision stainless steel filters with excellent mechanical intensity and long service life, which 

is corrosion-resistant and high-temperature-resistant, it intensively remove particulate matter from waste oil.

5. As for the mixed gas which is pumped by vacuum pump, through some methods such as exhaust treatment, 

rundle cooling, condensation, purification, filtration to reinforce the efficient output power of the machine, 

prolong the service life of vacuum pump largely. It not only protects the vacuum pump, but also makes the 

discharge gas clean and accord with environmental requirements. 

6. This system adopts advanced indefinite oil temperature control device, which can set the top and bottom oil 

temperature discretionarily to avoid frequent motions of beating AC contract and prolong the service life of 

AC contract. 

7. This plant is equipped with integrated protection devices. Through each executive component, it can realize 

overall self-protection to the temperature, pressure, vacuum level, ultra-pressure etc. 

VI. Overworking principle 

1. Working principle 

Waste oil is firstly pumped into primary filter to remove big size particles, then goes into reaction system through 

oil pump, adding certain amounts of flocculant and de-coloring additives into it, mixing and heating. Then with 







electric-charged particulate becomes big one under the effect of coacervation in waste oil by physical, chemical 

and sorption effects. At the same time, harmful gas is removed by gas exhausting system. Through the effect of 

degassing, dewatering, cooling, filtering, after that, the oil enters into high precision fine filter to remove more tiny 

impurities; finally the clean oil is pumped out by oil outlet pump. 

2. Main structure 

The machine is composed of following systems:

VIII. Questions & Answers 



1. What’s basic operation of LYE series? 

LYE Series regenerate waste oil by batch. For Model LYE-1000 (1000 L/day) to LYE-5000 (5000 L/day), 

We design one main filtering system and one reaction tank in the LYE, for over model LYE-5000, we design 

the machine with two filtering systems and two reaction tanks or more which can also ensure these types 

work continuously by turns. 

2. Can LYE recycle mixed oils? 

Yes, LYE Series can recycle the mixed mineral oils including diesel engine oil, gasoline engine oil, hydraulic 

oil, gear oil and other industrial lubrication oil. 

3. What residues or by-products LYE produce after recycling? 

Normally there are very few residues or by-products. There is graphite exist in residues. The graphite is a 

very valuable substance; customer can extract graphite from residues by themselves. 

4. How to dispose residues and by-products? 

Customer can burn them or bury them. Additionally, customer can sell it to other factories as fuel. 

5. Is every time’s treated oil’s performances the same? 

It depends on waste oil. If each batch of waste oil’s performance is the same, the treated oil’s performance is 

the same. 

6. What is regeneration rate? 

It depends on compositions of waste oil which you want to treat. If there is lots of water content, impurities 

or other matters in waste oil, the regeneration rate is low. On the other hand, the regenerate is high. 

Normally the rate is between 50% ~ 95%. 

7. What is treated oil? 

If the waste oil is mixture of different type of oils, the treated oil is base engine oil. If the waste oil is a single 

type of oil, after recycling, the treated oil will be back to original oil type. The grade of treated oil is a bit lower 

than virgin oil’s. 

8. What are treated oil’s applications? 

The treated oil can be used as machinery’s lubrication oil, diesel engine oil or other lubrication oil. 

Customers can add additives to treated oil for improving the oil’s quality according to definite applications 

before reuse. Treated oil can also be used as fuel. 







9. What are differences between virgin oil and treated oil? 

If the waste oil’s properties (before use) are high, the treated oil’s properties are also high. Generally, the 

regeneration process doesn’t affect main performances of oil. Some indexes are lower than new oil’s, some 

indexes are the same as new ones’. 

10. Are there any chemical materials needed during processing? 

Yes, there are some chemical materials needed in the process (please contact our sales, they will provide you 

detailed information.) 

11. How long is lifetime of LYE Series plant? 

The life time can last several years under proper operation. 

12. How about the maintenance of LYE Series? 

The maintenance is very simple. Replace lubrication oil for vacuum pump every year. Check the filters, valves, 

gaskets periodically. 

13. Does LYE Series needs professional engineers to operate? 

The operation of LYE Series is very simple. Generally, two or three workers can operate it after two days’ 

training and reading the operation manual carefully. 

14. Does LYE Series needs auxiliary equipments? 

We suggest that customers order an air compressor which is to improve efficiency of cleaning filter 

(customers can get it in your own market.). We also suggest that customers order TYA Series Lubricating 

oil purifier plant from us to improve the oil’s quality and recycling precision. Because customers can use 

TYA Series to remove more tiny particles, water and so on. Generally, customers store treated oil in big tank. 

During long storage period, there are moisture or impurities dissolved into treated oil. 

15. How to install LYE Series ? 

Customer can install LYE Series according to operation manual. 

16. What space does LYE Series need? 

For LYE-1000 ~ LYE-5000, it needs about 200 square meters for operation. For bigger models, it will need 

500 square meters or larger. 

17.How long is the delivery time? 

It needs about 50 ~ 70 working days’ production period in our factory according to the actual model you order. 

18. What kinds of engine oil LYE can not recycle? 

Generally, LYE Series can recycle most engine oils especially mineral engine oils. But for some very high 







grade, gasoline engine oil, LYE Series can remove colloid, oxid, acid, pitch, particles, impurities, water, gas. 

But the color of treated oil is wine’s color after treatment. Customers should mix it with used diesel engine oil 

or used hydraulic oil before treatment in order to get good treatment oil’s color. 

19. What reasons influence treatment capacity? 

There are several reasons such as environment temperatures, efficiency of operator, water, impurities in used 

oil, properties of used oil, and so on. 

20. How long is warranty period? 

ZHONGNENG Warrants the plant supplied under this specification against defects in material and 

workmanship under normal use and service for a period of sixteen (16) months from date of shipment. 

ZHONGNENG’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or furnishing, without charge F.O.B. point 

of manufacture, a similar part to replace any part, which was proven to be defective within warranty period. 

ZHONGNENG shall not in any event be held responsible for any indirect or consequential damages. 

21. Other Special Notices: 

u The used oil regeneration rate is related to the ambient temperature, heating power, the operation 

skill of worker and the quality of used oil (such as impurities, water content and viscosity etc.) 

u The color of regenerated oil depends on the quality of used oil, the quantity of chemicals, 

operation temperature and the factor of method, speed, sequence etc. of the chemicals’ pouring. 

u The regeneration rate is relative to the quality of used oil and the requirement of treated oil’s color 

(the higher is the requirement, the lower is the regeneration rate.) 

u The quantity of the waste residue is relative to the quality of waste oil and chemical additive as 

well as the residue blowing period.
