The system can cater for sliding wall systems of up to 30 metres in width, consisting of 20 door elements plus a pivot door. And if that is not enough, combining two installations to make one is no problem at all. Door dimensions between 850 and 1500 in width and up to 3500 mm in height are possible. The modular, pluggable track system opens up further design variations with curved installations and straight or cornered sliding walls. It is highly flexible when it comes to sliding and stacking, too: glass elements are either moved to one side or distributed individually to the left and right. They can be stacked in parallel or at an angle of 90 degrees to the direction of travel. Doors in curved installations are stacked as a fan. As the top track in most cases is installed within a suspended ceiling, the only visible components are appealing glass and retainer profiles that underline the elegance and transparency of the sliding wall system. The Swiss sliding hardware experts have come up with a clever solution for the power supply, too: a busbar that simply clips into the top track – including curved sections – renders milled edges unnecessary. The developers at Hawa paid special attention to an intelligent, menu-driven control system that moves the large and heavy sliding elements to their respective positions. The system stores three basic states in its memory: open, closed and locked. This renders the system immediately and automatically operable even after a power failure. In addition, the drive unit's configuration ensures that moving doors are stopped the moment they encounter an obstacle – nothing and no one runs the risk of inadvertently becoming trapped between moving elements. The HAWA-Motus 150/GV-matic and its practice-proven drive system therefore provide maximum safety and reliability. Ensuring the system from one source is CE compliant and fulfils all relevant European standards and safety directives is a matter of course for the Swiss manufacturer. Even the most complex HAWA-Motus sliding wall systems are outstanding examples of userfriendliness. System start-up is just as strikingly simple thanks to well-thought out controls and menu-driven operation. Complicated data input, such as manual addressing of sliding doors, is not required.
