Tuttle ’13 performed a theatrical duet<br />

of “Baby, it’s Cold Outside.”<br />

ThE ShANGRi–LA ChiNESE<br />

ACROBATS<br />

The Chinese acrobats enthralled the<br />

Assembly audience as they performed<br />

an array of acrobatic stunts <strong>and</strong> feats of<br />

balance, flexibility, coordination <strong>and</strong><br />

strength.<br />

<strong>Noble</strong>maN ANNOUNCEMENT<br />

The <strong>Noble</strong>man staff is known for quirky<br />

announcements in advance of the arrival<br />

of the newspaper. Math teacher Bill<br />

Kehlenbeck fooled the Assembly audience<br />

when he scolded advisee Ashley<br />

Wang ’12 when her phone rang on<br />

stage. shortly after, faculty member Brian<br />

Day’s phone rang. He answered it<br />

<strong>and</strong> passed it to Kehlenbeck, saying<br />

“it’s for you,” at which point Kehlenbeck<br />

announced, “The <strong>Noble</strong>man is here!”<br />

RECyCLiNG ON CAMPUS<br />

The Environmental Action Club<br />

announced the beginning of singlestream<br />

recycling on campus. Lila,<br />

English teacher Tim Carey’s dog,<br />

demonstrated that recycling is so easy,<br />

even a canine can do it! she impressed<br />

the audience, performing a series of<br />

tricks including throwing paper <strong>and</strong><br />

bottles into the recycling bin.
