All the above Motions were put to vote and carried.
3) On the 31st January, 2003, Hon. Thiru C. Ponnaiyan, Leader of
the House (Minister for Finance) moved the following motion:-
"That rule 25(1) of the Tamil Nadu Legislative
Assembly Rules, the House be adjourned Sinedie.".
The Motion was adopted nem con.
4) On the 26th March, 2003, Hon. Thiru C. Ponnaiyan, Leader of
the House (Minister for Finance) moved the following motion:-
"That rule 184 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Legislative
Assembly Rules be relaxed and the House do resolve
to transact the Government business before taking up of
Financial business to-day (26.3.2003) on which the
Business Advisory Committee has allotted for the
General discussion of the Budget".
The Motion was put to vote and carried.
5) On the 27th March, 2003, Hon. Thiru C. Ponnaiyan, Leader of
the House (Minister for Finance) moved the following motion:-
"That the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly
Rules 30, 130 and 132 be suspended and the
Tamil Nadu Appropriation Bill, 2003 (L.A. Bill
No.4 of 2003) be taken up for consideration
today (27-03-2003) itself."
The Motion was put to vote and carried.
6) On the 28th March, 2003, Hon. Thiru C. Ponnaiyan, Leader of
the House (Minister for Finance) moved the following motion:-
"That the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly
Rules 30, 130 and 132 be suspended and the
Tamil Nadu Appropriation (Vote on Account) Bill,
2003 (L.A. Bill No.5 of 2003) be taken up for
consideration today (28-03-2003) itself."
The Motion was put to vote and carried.
