Come one Come all to the best
Sunday School in town!
Sunday, September 16, 2012 after the Children’s Sermon during
worship, (9:20 am). We will hold a carnival to kick off our Sunday school
year.
There will be games and prizes, food and fun, won’t you join us.
We officially start Sunday school on September 23, 2012,
9:20 – 10:15 am each Sunday
We are also adding some incentives to our Sunday school program this year. Each month we will be
giving out prizes to the Grade level that has the best attendance. There will also be prizes for the group
with the most Singers on Sunday when we sing in church, And at the end of the year somebody or
bodies could win a new bicycle. We will base this prize the” Best Attendance” on the maximum
number of days your child could be in Sunday school accounting for every other weekend with Dad or
Mom and a few other criteria. We love to see your children’s bright shining faces each and every
Sunday. And in the beginning of the year we see most of them regularly, but after the first of the year
attendance drops off pretty significantly. We hope these chances to win fun and fabulous prizes or
food parties will maybe make your child want to come every Sunday that they can.
Enclosed you will find a Sunday school registration form. Please take time to fill this out. In the event
your child gets ill or injured at Sunday school we have available your phone number so that we can
call you and let you know what is going on. We also like to have phone numbers for when we get
close to Christmas and begin practice for our program. You will also find enclosed a Sunday school
Volunteer Opportunity list.
Would you like to help be a Shepherd or a Room leader for a Rotation? The Rotations last 4 or 5
weeks and it is really not that hard. Shepherds sit with the children during the opening and help them
with the songs. Then you go to the room and help with maintaining order and possibly help with what
is going on in that room. If you would like to teach/lead a Rotation, we have printed material for you
to use and you can be reimbursed for any and all supplies that you may need for that particular room.
We usually have a game room, computer lab, and kitchen where some type of cooking goes on.
Maybe you could run the Cinema room, or help with a play. How about building things out of
LEGOS, hey all you Dads you can help too, we bet you are great at building things.

Sunday School is scheduled from ~ 9:20 a.m. (during church hours, after the Children’s
Sermon) - 10:15 a.m. Students will be dismissed promptly at 10:15 a.m. Please be on time
