edition in square brackets [LP #]. Where other sources are used this is<br />
indicated. See Textual Notes for more information.<br />
Gaps in the sequence <strong>of</strong> LP numbers indicate fragments too broken for<br />
meaningful poetic translation (see The Text <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sappho</strong>’s Poems).<br />
