The <strong>scale</strong> pattern of the major <strong>scale</strong> on the guitar fretboard. The only difference between the two representations is the numbers in the<br />

lower one that show the whole notes. The vertical line after fret 12 means the pattern starts all over again from there, the next four frets<br />

are repeated only for the sense of understanding. Just slide the pattern over the fretboard until any root note (1) box is on the note<br />

(or key) you want to play in.
