<strong>SLC</strong> has over 25 years of experience<br />
organising summer language camps<br />
in Switzerland and combining an<br />
excellent language education with<br />
a wide range of leisure, sports and<br />
sightseeing activities.<br />
We offer high quality summer programmes,<br />
headed by a highly motivated<br />
and experienced team in our<br />
newly renovated course centres of<br />
Leysin, Montreux and Neuchâtel.<br />
We combine intensive language<br />
lessons in the morning with a varied<br />
sports, leisure and excursion<br />
programme in the afternoon and<br />
evening.<br />
The Leysin location, half an hour<br />
away from Lake Geneva, is suitable<br />
for participants from 10 to 17 years of<br />
age. Our Montreux centre caters to<br />
2 | <strong>SLC</strong> <strong>Swiss</strong> Language Club<br />
more mature participants of 14 to 18<br />
years of age. Our centre in Neuchâtel<br />
welcomes participants from 12 to 17<br />
years of age.<br />
All centres offer the option to study<br />
either English or French. German is<br />
also offered in our Leysin centre.<br />
The <strong>SLC</strong> “Hot Sports Card” allows<br />
our participants to participate in a<br />
variety of sports and leisure activities.<br />
The pass – with a weekly bonus<br />
of CHF 40.– is already included in the<br />
course fee.<br />
In addition to the full-day Saturday<br />
excursion and the two weekly<br />
half-day excursions we offer one<br />
admission every second week to<br />
the Aquaparc in Le Bouveret on the<br />
shores of Lake Geneva (see pages<br />
16 - 17) for the Montreux and Leysin<br />
camp. In Neuchâtel, we offer one<br />
admission to Europa-Park for stays<br />
of 2 weeks or longer.<br />
Renovated in 2005 - 2008, our course<br />
centres have excellent infrastructures<br />
with modern classrooms, nice<br />
double and single rooms and a large<br />
variety of leisure facilities.<br />
Our course centres have also gained<br />
a reputation for their excellent catering<br />
since their reopening.<br />
A team of professional cooks prepares<br />
three buffets (breakfast, lunch<br />
and dinner) from Monday to Friday,<br />
with brunch and dinner on the weekends.<br />
Barbecues or special theme<br />
nights offer even more diversity.<br />
