Accommodation Information Upon arrival in <strong>Genoa</strong>, students may find their first accommodation at the<br />
Youth Hostel. You have to book the room contacting directly the Youth<br />

Documents to bring for<br />
registration<br />
Remember to introduce yourself as “Incoming student at the University <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Genoa</strong>”. The first night is charged to you, the following nights (for a<br />
maximum <strong>of</strong> 4) will be <strong>of</strong>fered by the University <strong>of</strong> <strong>Genoa</strong><br />
The University <strong>of</strong> <strong>Genoa</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers four nights free <strong>of</strong> charge. Students who<br />
wish to stay to the Youth Hostel past the first four nights must pay the<br />
going rate for bed & breakfast, about 17,50 Euros per day.<br />
Our <strong>Faculty</strong> does not have on-campus accomodation. To help students<br />
find the best accommodation for their needs, we <strong>of</strong>fer a free lodging<br />
research service (SASS). Accomodation costs in <strong>Genova</strong> range from 180<br />
(double room) to 300 euros (single room) according to the kind <strong>of</strong> room<br />
and the location <strong>of</strong> the apartment.<br />

Please note that it is possible to attend only one course. Students can be<br />
accepted at the course only within 4 days from the starting date. The<br />
courses are divided into levels from Beginners (50H) Intermediate and<br />
Advanced (40H)<br />
Credit –ECTS System 1 CFU measures the same workload <strong>of</strong> 1 ECTS.<br />
CFU, like ECTS, is based on the principle that 60 credits measure the<br />
workload <strong>of</strong> a full-time student during one academic year.<br />
4 hours <strong>of</strong> lessons for week (for 12/14 weeks) for the lessons to be 6 CFU<br />
(48 hours);<br />
6 hours for week (for 8 / 10 weeks) for the teachings <strong>of</strong> 9 CFU (72 hours).<br />
Marks Marks range from 18/30 to 30/30<br />
30 e lode is given when the result <strong>of</strong> the exam is outstanding<br />
