What is Hawk Mud Fest?
On Saturday, April 27, 2013, hundreds of University of Kansas
students will come together to compete in a mud volleyball tournament.
Hawk Mud Fest is an event created by the Student Endowment
Board and is intended to highlight the importance of giving
back to KU. Tournament proceeds will help the Student Endowment
Board recognize student leaders who have made significant
contributions to the enrichment and future success of KU through
the Student Leadership Award.
More than 800 students have competed in this annual tournament
and have helped to award more than $4,000 to five outstanding
student leaders. In its fifth year, we hope to make Hawk Mud Fest
bigger and better than ever. This is our way of showing appreciation
to the alumni who have supported our university while doing what
we can to help our peers.

What can Hawk Mud Fest do
for you or your business?
Hawk Mud Fest relies on the help of donors like you to help us
educate our peers about the importance of private philanthropy,
and to reward those who are making significant contributions to
the enrichment and future success of KU. The fifth annual event
will be an opportunity for supporting individuals and businesses
to reach an anticipated student base of 300 KU students, faculty
and staff.
Acknowledgement of every donation will appear on the Hawk Mud
Fest website. Additional benefits apply according to sponsorship
level (please see opposite panel).
How can you support Hawk Mud Fest?
If you are interested in making a donation, please complete
the attached contributor agreement. In additional to financial
contributions, Hawk Mud Fest is looking for:
• Food and drink for event participants
• T-shirts for event participants

To show our gratitude, your sponsorship will be
recognized according to the following levels:
CRIMSON ($50–$99):
Sponsor’s name and contribution will be recognized at
www.hawkmudfest.org and in email communications to
participants.
BLUE ($100–$249):
Sponsor’s logo will be displayed on the Student Endowment
website, with a link to the sponsor’s website. The sponsor’s
logo also will be printed on the “thank you” page included in
volunteer information packets. Blue sponsors also will receive
Crimson benefits.
JAYHAWK ($250–$499):
Sponsor’s logo will be printed on the Hawk Mud Fest participant
T-shirt. Sponsor’s logo will be included on all Hawk Mud Fest
promotional materials. Jayhawk sponsors also will receive Blue
and Crimson benefits.
CAMPANILE ($500–$999):
Sponsor’s logo will be included on all Hawk Mud Fest advertisements,
including a published “thank you” advertisement following
the event. Sponsors will be invited to the April 27, 2013, event
to distribute promotional material and have the opportunity to
display a promotional banner at the event while engaging with
participants. Campanile sponsors also will receive Jayhawk, Blue
and Crimson benefits.
NAISMITH ($1,000+):
The Student Endowment Board would love to discuss
a sponsorship package to accommodate your generous
contribution to Hawk Mud Fest. Please contact us

Naismith sponsors also will receive Campanile,
Jayhawk, Blue and Crimson benefits.
Any gift card donations will be awarded the proper level
with respect to donated amount.
