The Darling Downs Easter Con-
vention for 2013 will be an
exciting time for all who attend.
This year Our Precious Lord has
provided a new home for the
convention based on the original
style of a family camp. Since
Kingswood was sold we have
not been able to provide this as
there was not a suitable site in
Warwick.
NOW we have one for 2013
“WARWICK
CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
SLADE CAMPUS”
has become available and we
have onsite dormitory
accommodation.
This accommodation provides
accommodation for families,
couples and singles.
We will have meetings rooms
for various activities, a Chapel, a
large dinning room and a
Industrial Kitchen for our Chef.
Linen is provided as well as a
blanket and a doona; also wall
heaters.
You will need to bring your own
pillow and toiletries including a
towel etc.

DIRECTOR OF
Christian Growth Ministries.
Kel is an ordained Baptist Minister
with over 35 years experience in
Christian work that has included
youth and student work, evangelism,
Pastoral ministry and itinerant
Bible teaching. He is the Author of
a number of books and will be basing
his teaching over the week end
on his book called
“LIVING WITH YOU, LIVING
WITH ME”
We are in the process of planning
one of the session to have work
shops available on relationships to
complement these teaching
sessions.

As Mission is an integral part of the Conventions activities, we will be sharing
with 3 or 4 Mission agencies and hearing about their Mission activities.
Family time is also important and we have set aside Saturday afternoon
for families to take advantage of this opportunity.
The campus has sport fields etc for us to use and enjoy. The grounds are beautiful
and have many places where one can go and have quite reflections and prayer .The
grounds are spacious and will provide this and much more for the convention
participants.
Reading rooms and a games room are also available . A Table Tennis
and a pool table are there for us to use.
Parking is available in the grounds with access from Horsman Rd.
(look out for the DDEC sign that will be there).
Swimming Pool: We will not be using the pool as we do not have certified staff to
supervise it.
