LEGALLY BLONDE
At 6am on Saturday 27th November, with rumors of impending
heavy snow, ninety five intrepid Westholme students and staff set off
to see ‘Legally Blonde’ in London.
A great time was had by all, both in Covent Garden and at the
performance. The Jack Wills shop was stripped of stock and the
threatened snow never materialised. All in all a fantastic day!
Alice in
Westholmeland!
What a wonderful Night at the Movies it was!
Westholme was a place of white rabbits, Alices
and adventure! Mr Bissett and Dr Watson
transformed themselves into Alice in Wonderlands
while Dr Riley, Mrs Hornby and
Miss Worthington were the Mad Hatters!
The Queens of Hearts were there in all their
glory (namely Mrs Allen, Mrs Blackburn,
Mrs Law, Mrs Martin and Miss Collins).
Well done to the Year 10 JAC Team who created
the most imaginative and amazing stalls and games.
The interval was one of madness and great fun!
But there was more to come . . .
Lucy Turnock and Mr Beard created an
unforgettable entertainment with Dr Watson
(Alice) singing superbly and we were entertained
by an amusing sketch written by Mr Beard.
Thank you to everyone involved in this year’s
Night at the Movies: Year 7 and their fabulous
costumes, the JAC Team for their hard work and
incredible imagination, and to all staff for helping
and joining in the fun!
It was truly a Westholme Wonderland.
