Two thirty-year-olds meet in strange circumstances. Konrad is captain of a ship, on which Li, a Chinese woman<br />

and the wife of another ship captain, is hiding after being wrongly accused of murder. Konrad may be captain<br />

of the ship, but his Chinese crew is rather hostile towards him.<br />

A love story set against the confrontation of Eastern and Western cultures. Based on “The Secret Sharer”, a short<br />

story by Joseph Conrad.<br />
