WELLNESS<br />
Ayurveda teaches that our natural state is health and balance. Our<br />
minds and bodies possess an innate intelligence that seeks to keep us<br />
in balance so that we can experience wellbeing, vitality, and joy. We<br />
can hinder or block this natural impulse by making choices that create<br />
a lot of stress, pushing ourselves too hard, or neglecting our needs.<br />
More than 5,000 years ago, the ayurvedic physicians discovered that<br />
we can restore our balance and wellbeing through a variety of mindbody<br />
healing practices, including awakening our inner pharmacy by<br />
nourishing our five senses, and developing a daily routine that honors<br />
our body’s inner rhythms.
