dapatdigunakanuntukmendukungkegiatanbelajarmengajarsertamempermudahsiswa<strong>dan</strong><br />

guru<br />

untukmengelolainformasisekolah<strong>dan</strong>jugadalammengambilkeputusan.Dengana<strong>dan</strong>yaE-<br />

Learning inidapatmembantu proses belajarmengajar agar lebih optimal.<br />

Memudahkanpara guru untukdapatmendistribusikanmateripelajaranuntuksiswa di SMA<br />

CANDRA NAYA<br />

<strong>dan</strong>jugasiswadapatdenganmudahmendapatmateripelajaran.SimpulanWebsiteE-Learning<br />

inidapatdijadikan media diskusitambahanuntukmembahasmateripelajaran yang<br />

belumtuntassertadapatmengerjakansoal-<br />

1. Pendahuluan<br />

Dewasainiteknologiinformasi<strong>dan</strong>komunikasiberkembangdengancepatseiringnyaz<br />

aman yang semakinmaju di era<br />

globalisasiini.Pesatnyaperkembanganilmupengetahuan<strong>dan</strong>teknologisemakinmemudahka<br />

nhidupmanusia di dalamberbagaibi<strong>dan</strong>g.Tuntutanglobal<br />

akankemudahanmendapatkaninformasimenyebabkan media<br />

elektroniksebagaisumberdayainformasi yang serbacepat.


Internet merupakan media informasi yang seringdigunakansaatini.Hal<br />

inidisebabkanolehperkembanganzaman yang<br />

menjadikaninternetsebagaikebutuhanuntukmeminimalisirwaktu,<br />

tempat<strong>dan</strong>biayauntukmendapatkaninformasisecaracepat<strong>dan</strong>tepat.Internetsaatinidigunaka<br />

n di berbagaibi<strong>dan</strong>g, tidakhanya di bi<strong>dan</strong>gbisnisnamunteknologiinternetjugaditerapkan<br />

di duniapendidikan.<br />

E-<strong>learning</strong>merupakansalahsatumetodepembelajaran yang<br />

menggabungkanantarateknologikomunikasi<strong>dan</strong>informasi.Dengana<strong>dan</strong>yaE-<br />

<strong>learning</strong>kegiatanbelajartidakterbatas di sekolahsajanamundapatdilakukan di rumahatau<br />

di tempatlainasalkanterhubungdengan media internet.<br />

SMA CandraNayamerupakansebuahsekolah yang<br />

saatinise<strong>dan</strong>gmencobamelakukanperubahancarabelajarmengajar yang<br />

semulasecaramanualmenjadi<strong>sistem</strong>pembelajaranonlineyang terstruktur.<br />

Untukitumelaluiskripsiinimencobamenganalisa<strong>dan</strong>merancang<strong>sistem</strong>untukmendukungke<br />

giatanbelajarmengajar di SMA CandraNaya.<br />

galurpembelajaran yang se<strong>dan</strong>gberlangsung di SMA CandraNaya.<br />

Denganobservasimakadapatdiperoleh data pendahuluan yang<br />

mungkindapatdigunakanuntukmemudahkandalammerancang<strong>dan</strong>mengimplemnt<br />

asikanwebsiteini.<br />

- MetodePerpustakaan, yaitudenganmembacabuku-buku yang<br />

sekiranyadiperlukansebagaidasarteoridalamlaporanpenelitianini,<br />

<strong>dan</strong>denganmenggunakaninformasidariinternetuntukbelajarlebihjauhlagidaripen<br />

akandiimplementasikandenganmenggunakansoftware engineeringtools yang<br />

digunakansepertiState Transitition Diagram, Entity Relationship<br />

Diagram<strong>dan</strong><strong>perancangan</strong>layar.<br />

- Mengimplementasikanhasilrancanganwebsite terhadapsekolah.<br />

- Melakukanevaluasiterhadapwebsitetersebut<br />

- Mengevaluasihasilrancangan<strong>dan</strong>percobaan.<br />

2.3 Implementasi<br />

tentanginstalasiiniSoftware yang digunakandalamaplikasiiniadalah MySQL,<br />

Java SE development Kit (JDK) <strong>dan</strong> Apache Tomcat<br />

Berikutiniadalahlangkah-langkahinstalasiaplikasiserver yang harusdilakukan<br />

1. Informasi yang disajikandalamwebsite lengkap.<br />

2. Informasi yang<br />

diperbaruidapatdengancepatdisampaikankepadapengguna.<br />

3. Responaplikasidalammenampilkaninformasiatasaksi yang<br />

dilakukanusercukupcepat.

1. Kecepatan menampilkan informasi tergantung dari kecepatan internet.<br />

2. Diperlukan tambahan fitur foto pribadi pada setiap user.<br />

3. Penambahan fitur streaming untuk listening.<br />

Dari hasil<strong>analisis</strong>, <strong>perancangan</strong>, sertaevaluasiterhadapaplikasie-<br />

<strong>learning</strong>berbasisweb di SMA CandraNaya,<br />

makadidapatkanbeberapakesimpulansebagaiberikut:<br />

1. Waktu yang kurangmembuatmateripelajaran yang disampaikanoleh guru<br />

tidakmencapai target <strong>dan</strong>membuatsiswakurangmemahamipelajaran yang<br />

ingindisampaikan. Berdasarkanhaltersebutdisediakanfasilitasbagi guru<br />

untukmemasukkanmateri-materitambahan<strong>dan</strong>jugasoal-soaltugas,<br />

sehinggasiswadapatlebihmudahmengertimengenaipelajaran yang<br />

disampaikan.<br />

2. Fitur-fitur yang adatelahberjalandenganbaiksertamudahdigunakansehingga<br />

user mudahdalampengoperasiannya.<br />

3. Fitur-fiturutamasepertipemberianmateri, pemberiantugas,<br />

pemberiannilai<strong>dan</strong> forum<br />

Abstrack<br />

The purpose of this study is to analyze and design the application of web-based E-<br />

Learning. E-Learning can help teachers to distribute their materials without having to be<br />

in class by using the internet, it can maximize classroom <strong>learning</strong> time is limited. The<br />

research method used in the writing of this thesis is a method of analysis and design<br />

methods. The method of analysis used in this research include literature by studying the<br />

guide books as the foundation of the theory, analysis of observations on the discovery<br />

that the system is running and a questionnaire with topics that will be taken. Method of<br />

designing applications include the manufacture of ERD, STD, and screen design. Result<br />

in the creation of an E-Learning application that can be used to support and facilitate


teaching and <strong>learning</strong> activities of students and teachers to manage school information<br />

and also in making decisions. With the E-Learning can help the <strong>learning</strong> process to be<br />

more optimal. Make it easy for teachers to be able to distribute course material to<br />

students in high school Candra Naya, and also students can easily get the subject matter.<br />

Conclusion E-Learning Website can be used as an additional discussion of media to<br />

discuss the subject matter is not yet complete and can do the exam questions are multiple<br />

choice form and collect the tasks given by the teacher.<br />

1.Preliminary<br />

Today information and communication technologies develop rapidly of<br />

increasingly advanced in this globalization era. The rapid development of science and<br />

technology increasingly facilitates the human life in the various fields. Global demand<br />

will easily get the information led to the electronic media as a source of information<br />

superhighway.<br />

Internet is a medium of information that is often used today. This is caused by<br />

the times that make the Internet as the need to minimize the time, place and cost to<br />

obtain information quickly and accurately. Internet is currently used in many fields, not<br />

only in business but Internet technology is also applied in education.E-<strong>learning</strong> is a<br />

teaching method that combines information and communication technology.


With the E-<strong>learning</strong> and <strong>learning</strong> activities are not confined to schools alone but<br />

can be done at home or elsewhere as long as it is connected to the internet media.<br />

SMA Candra Naya is a school that is currently trying to change the way teaching and<br />

<strong>learning</strong> which was originally manually into a structured online <strong>learning</strong> system. For that<br />

through this essay tries to analyze and design systems to support teaching and <strong>learning</strong><br />

activities in high school Candra Naya.<br />

2. Methodology<br />

In order for the discussion of the topic of this thesis focus and direction on a hoped for<br />

goal, so in this paper will discuss the following matters:<br />

- Things that are discussed in of the e-<strong>learning</strong> website is:<br />

1. School profile<br />

2. Annoucement<br />

3. Student data<br />

4. Data teachers<br />

5. Schedule a lesson<br />

6. The material in each lesson<br />

7. Value<br />

8. Data year<br />

- User who can access this application are : Teachers, students and admin.


2.1 Method of Analysis<br />

- Data collection techniques used were observational methods which make direct<br />

observations about the flow of ongoing <strong>learning</strong> in high school Candra Naya. By<br />

observation it can be obtained preliminary data that may be used to facilitate the<br />

design and mengimplemntasikan this website.<br />

- The library method, ie by reading the books if requested as a basic theory in<br />

this research report, and by using information from the Internet to learn more<br />

from the experience of people who have documented<br />

2.2 Design Methods<br />

- Create a website design e-<strong>learning</strong> will be implemented using software<br />

engineering tools that are used as Transitition State Diagram, Entity<br />

Relationship Diagrams and screen design.<br />

- Implement the plan to the school website.<br />

- Conduct evaluations of the website<br />

- Evaluate the design and experimental results


2.3 Implementation<br />

The installation of the software used in this application is MySQL, Java SE<br />

Development Kit (JDK) and Apache Tomcat The following are the steps to install the<br />

application server must be done:<br />

a. Installing a JDK<br />

JDK is version 6, can be obtained through the site http://java.sun.com.<br />

b. Installation of Apache Tomcat<br />

Apache Tomcat version used is 5.5.20 http://tomcat.apache.org/ could be through the<br />

site. To use java apache tomcat should install first. Apache Tomcat is used to launch<br />

applications or websites based on Java Servlet and Java Server Page (JSP).<br />

c. MySQL Installation<br />

MySQL is used is essential mysql version 5.0.15 can be obtained through the site<br />

http://mysql.com/downloads/.<br />

d. MySQL Connector configuration<br />

MySQL connector used is version 3.0.9 can be obtained through the site<br />

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/


2.4 Evaluation<br />

Each system has advantages and disadvantages are built, the following strengths<br />

and weaknesses of e-<strong>learning</strong> applications this website:<br />

• Excess<br />

1. The information presented in a complete website.<br />

2. The updated information can be quickly delivered to the user.<br />

3. Response in the application display information on user actions performed fairly<br />

quickly.<br />

4. A simple navigation system, making it easier for users in the access.<br />

5. View the application site is consistent, attractive, and interactive.<br />

• Lack of<br />

1. Speed display information depending on the speed of the internet.<br />

2. Additional features required on each user's personal photos.<br />

3. The addition of streaming feature for listening.<br />

3. Conclusion<br />

From the analysis, design, and evaluation of the application of web-based e-<strong>learning</strong> in<br />

high school Candra Naya, then get some conclusions as follows:<br />

1. Less time to make the subject matter presented by the teacher did not<br />

reach the target and make the students do not understand the lesson to be


conveyed. Based on the available facilities for teachers to include<br />

additional material as well as matters of duty, so that students can more<br />

easily understand the lessons being delivered.<br />

2. Features that have been going well and easy to use so the user easy to<br />

operate.<br />

3. Major features such as the provision of materials, administration duties,<br />

providing value and very useful discussion forum for users and support<br />

the <strong>learning</strong> process.<br />

4. With the application of e-<strong>learning</strong> teaching and <strong>learning</strong> process can be<br />

expected to take place not only in the classroom so that students and<br />

teachers as well as the quality of teaching and <strong>learning</strong> processes for the<br />

better. Where the application is only as a <strong>learning</strong> support facilities in the<br />

school system does not replace the Candra Naya poses that have been<br />

learned in the classroom.
