After <strong>School</strong> Chess Club T<strong>here</strong> were 20 budding chess champions attending Afterschool Chess Club in Term 4. Thanks again to Dennis Holland from Total Chess for running this great service. The students all learned more about the game, enjoyed the competitive matches and tested their brains with a weekly puzzle with a raffle prize going to the lucky winner. Our Chess Champions for Term 4 are as follows: Year 1 - 1 st Jeremy Yip, 2 nd Amelia Lai (a great effort as she is only in pre-primary!) Year 2 – 1 st Andre Whitehead, 2 nd Duncan Wong Year 3 – 1 st Declan Moore, 2 nd Edmand Cheung Year 4-7 –1 st Joshua Yip, 2 nd Kendrick Lai Congratulations everyone! Jump Rope for Heart “Fun”draisers A huge congratulations and "Thank you" goes out to those students who went the extra mile to get donations for their participation in the Jump Rope for Heart "Jump Off Day". These included Emily Hewitt, Hannah Fleming, Rebecca Fleming, Callum Coull, Alex Chen, Kahlea Aslanis and Declan Moore. These children managed to raise $295 in total between them for the Heart Foundation. These children will receive their prizes at the beginning of the new school year. Again, thank you to all the parents who got behind their children in this fundraiser.

Parents are encouraged to stay, have coffee and watch their kids have fun. Both events as usual will have full canteen facilities. Tickets will be available at the Community Centre on the day of the disco. Purchase tickets on the day to avoid missing out! Cost is $7.00 per child including GST.
