POST pregnancy, Lara Dutta has finally signed her first film and
shall start shooting August onwards. Lara Dutta recently
claimed that she would not be returning to Bollywood anytime
soon. The actress who delivered a baby girl in January this
year had then said, “I am looking at films and scripts. But I am
not going to be back on the sets for at least the next couple of
months because I want to make sure that my baby is secure.”
And now it seems Lara’s self-imposed exile from the film industry
has come to an end. The actress has signed Bejoy
Nambiar’s film David. Not much is known about Lara’s character
other than the fact that David has an ensemble cast.

But the Bride and Prejudice
actress, who has been described by
Hollywood’s Julia Roberts as the
world’s most beautiful woman, has
looked to silence those who became
obsessed with her weight.
One video titled “Aishwarya Rai’s
shocking weight gain” has been seen
more than half a million times, and
sparked a flurry of similar videos to
be created in the aftermath. Many
rebuked her double chin, and others
condemned her saying it was her
“duty” to fans to recapture her sexy
pre-pregnancy figure.
One comment on the video stated,
“Aishwarya needs to look at herself
compared to other famous celebrities

Kannada version of hit
Bollywood film The Dirty
Picture, aims to go a step ahead
of Vidya Balan’s act in the
original. She maintains the
two films are different.
“I have not seen the The
Dirty Picture in Hindi,
though I have heard that Vidya
Balan has delivered an awesome
performance in the film. But I
really want to go one step ahead in
my performance in this film,” said
Veena.
The actress, who rose to fame in
India after her stint in controversial
reality show Bigg Boss 4, says it
is unfair to compare the two films.

and happiness especially if she is

Bachchan is heralded in the
country by many as the perfect
image of beauty, and so there is
huge pressure on her to look perfect
at all times. However, if her
showing at Cannes is anything to
go by Aishwarya can have her cake
and eat it: as it looks like she can
have her dream of enjoying her
beautiful baby daughter, while
ignoring critics and getting back to
her sexy self.

Venkateappa, and directed by
Thrishool.
