Report <strong>of</strong> the<br />
International Czuczor-Fogarasi Conference<br />
Budaörs, October 6 7, 2012<br />
The International Cultural Centre Czuczor Fogarasi conference took place in Budaörs, at the Jókai<br />
Mór Cultural Centre on 6-7 <strong>of</strong> October, 2012.<br />
The conference was dedicated to the memory <strong>of</strong> The Great Academic Hungarian Dictionary<br />
published 150 years ago.<br />
The conference showed the works <strong>of</strong> the Hungarian researchers based on The Dictionary and the<br />
similar international scientific studies, as well as the practical application <strong>of</strong> the results in teaching,<br />
which was started in Budaörs, at the Mindszenty József Roman Catholic Primary School for the first time<br />
in the country.<br />
The conference was a great success; the conference centre was full on both days. The two days<br />
presentations were received with genuine interest <strong>of</strong> domestic and foreign researchers, and by the<br />
hundreds <strong>of</strong> audience present.<br />
The patronage <strong>of</strong> the conference was Abbot Dr. Várszegi Asztrik OSB Pannonhalma.<br />
