Day Nineteen:<br />

3 minutes- Attendance, house keeping<br />

7 minutes- Bell ringer (See Appendix A)<br />

10 minutes- Reading Quiz #3(See Appendix A)<br />

5 minutes- Go over quiz answers<br />

20 minutes- The class will go over most of the pages the students were supposed to read the night<br />

before (pages 162-180). If the girls start a conversation based on the text, the teacher should allow it.<br />

5 minutes- Closing questions/comments<br />

Day Twenty:<br />

3 minutes- Attendance, house keeping<br />

7 minutes- Bell ringer FREE-WRITE (See Appendix A)<br />

20 minutes- The class will go over most of the pages the students were supposed to read the night<br />

before (pages 180-198). If the girls start a conversation based on the text, the teacher should allow it.<br />

5 minutes- Class will listen to “Reflection” <strong>by</strong> Christina Aguilera (See Appendix C)<br />

10 minutes- Class will discuss the theme of identity in the poem<br />

- Underline the words that show the artist isn’t aware of who she is<br />

- Circle the words “I”, “me”, and “my”<br />

Day Twenty-One:<br />

3 minutes- Attendance, housekeeping<br />

7 minutes- Bell ringer (See Appendix A)<br />

5 minutes- Hannah Montana clip- Season 2, Episode 27
