These proved to be very popular in the last week of school but we are aware that some people may have missed out on ordering one. So if you would like a record of your child’s year at school and what the College has done over 2012 please come to the Accounts department and purchase your copy today. As a special offer we have reduced these to $10 so hurry and get your copy today. 8 parentnewsletter - Term 1, 2013 Do you sew? Would you like to use your talents and be involved in the Sound of Music team? There is a considerable amount of sewing to be completed to have the costumes ready for the performances. It is not highly detailed sewing and there will be support to help with your volunteering. If you would like to be involved, please call Dianne Garred on 0407 612142.
UNIFORM SHOP NEWS The Uniform shop is closed during the April school holidays. Opening Hours for 1st week after school holidays are as follows: Monday, 29 April (Pupil Free Day): 8:00am – 12noon. Tuesday, 30 April (1st day, Term 2): 8:00am – 10:00am Wednesday, 1 May: 1:00pm – 4:00pm Friday, 3 May: 1:00pm – 4:00pm Winter Uniform Winter Uniform needed for all students in Terms 2 & 3! JS: Pinafores, shirts, bowties, stockings, trousers, ties, olive jumpers, winter sport tracksuit MS: Blazers, shirts, bowties, stockings trousers, ties, olive jumpers, winter sport tracksuit SS: Blazers, shirts, bowties, stockings trousers, ties, black jumpers, winter sport tracksuit Blazers: Blazers need to be worn by students in year 5-12! Blazers must be worn to and from school at all times during Terms 2 and 3 and when students are requested to wear “formal school uniform”. This means full winter uniform regardless of the time of year. To ensure you get the size you need, order now, or you might miss out! Last year, quite a few students misplaced their blazer. We ask all parents to be diligent in clearly labelling their child’s blazer & checking each day that the blazer they bring home is theirs. Sportswear: More sportswear items are due in early April. If you have ordered and paid for an item that is out of stock you will be contacted as soon as they are unpacked and sorted. Online Ordering: Quite a few of our families are now using our convenient online ordering system. If you know your child’s size and cannot get to the shop, simply go to the St Philip’s website, click on “Newcastle”, then “Shop” and fill out the order form. You will then be contacted for payment and to organize pick-up from the shop or delivery. Fastway couriers deliver to most areas at a cost of $10. (Please write this in delivery instructions if you would like this option). 2nd-hand: A good range of 2nd-hand winter items are ready for purchase. *If you have been contacted regarding some items that haven’t been accepted, these will only be held for 1 month after which they will be donated to charity.
