General description 

Communication terminal with display, incorporat‐ 

ing duplex speech system with all operating ele‐ 

ments necessary for communication between pa‐ 

tients or residents and staff. 

The terminal controls and monitors all room func‐ 

tions in accordance with the German standard DIN 

VDE 0834. It is connected directly to the ward bus. 

The room components (room lamp and switches) 

are connected to the terminal. 

If the ward bus fails, the terminal continues working 

independently for the room. This provides max‐ 

imum operational reliability.

After the nurse call system has been installed, our service technician will support you during 

the structured nurse call system commissioning procedure.

struction must be provided by trained experts! 

Our service technician will instruct operators on site on the wards in how to operate the 

nurse call system. The system functions will be explained and demonstrated in detail with 

reference to the operating instructions, e.g. notification of presence, call handling, call for‐ 

warding etc. 

Participants will be fully familiarised with the system. A list of participants confirms the in‐ 

struction measure.
