Mit dieser VEIT-Nachdetachiertisch haben Sie sich für ein Gerät
entschieden, das einfache Bedienung und zuverlässige Funktion
optimal verbindet.
Um vollen Nutzen aus dem Gerät zu ziehen ist die richtige
Anwendung wichtig, die Sie beim Studium der
Gebrauchsanleitung erlernen.

VEIT 7404 Postspotting Table

1.2 Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise / Warnings and Safety Instructions
• Die verwendeten Detachiermittel dürfen nicht brennbar
sein.
• Die Verwendungshinweise der Detachiermittel sind
unbedingt zu beachten
• The spotting agents used must not be combustible.
• The information how to use the spotting agents must be
carefully noted.
• Detachierpistole nur auf Ware richten. • Direct the spotting pistol only to the garment.
• Das Gerät darf nur mit der Spannung und Stromart
betrieben werden, die auf dem Typenschild angegeben
sind.
• Das Gerät ist mit einem Stecker ausgestattet. Der Stecker
muß frei zugänglich sein und darf nicht verbaut werden. Ein
Direktanschluß ohne Stecker ist nicht zulässig.
• Der Netzanschluß muß bauseitig abgesichert sein.
Vorschriften örtlicher Elektrizitätsgesellschaften sind zu
beachten.
• Störungen an der elektrischen Anlage dürfen nur durch
Elektrofachkräfte behoben werden.
• Only use the voltage and type of current shown on the
machine-plate.
• The unit is supplied with a plug. Do not connect without a
plug. The plug must be easily accessible and must not be
covered.
• The mains supply is the responsibility of the customer. Take
note of the regulations of the local electric supply.
• Electrical faults must only be repaired by authorized
personnel.
• Vor Öffnen des Gerätes Netzstecker ziehen. • Disconnect the power supply before opening the machine.
• Im Gefahrenfall das Gerät durch Ziehen des Netzsteckers
oder durch Betätigen des Netzschalters außer Betrieb
setzen.
• Es dürfen nur von VEIT zugelassene Zubehör- und
Ersatzteile verwendet werden.
• In an emergency, the machine can be stopped by pulling
out the mains plug or by operating the mains switch.

2 Aufbauanleitung / Assembly Instructions
2.1 Aufbau und Anschlüsse / Assembly and Connections
Der Nachdetachiertisch wird in zwei Baugruppen geliefert:
• Grundplatte mit aufgebautem Grundgerät
• Galgen mit Wasser-Luftpistole und Beleuchtung.
Der Galgen wird an der Detachierwanne angeschraubt. (Die
Schrauben befinden sich in einem Plastikbeutel, der am Galgen
angebracht ist).
Der Abluftschlauch (Durchmesser 100) wird an dem
Ausblasstutzen (an der Rückseite des Gerätes) mit einer Schelle
befestigt und ins Freie geführt.
Die Druckluft wird an der Druckluftwartungseinheit
angeschlossen. Der Druck wird auf ca. 6 bar eingestellt.
Die Dampfleitung wird an den gekennzeichneten Anschluß (1/2")
an der Rückseite des Gerätes angeschlossen.
Dampfanschlussleitung isolieren!
Vorsicht! Verbrennungsgefahr!
Der Kondensatausgang des Gerätes (1/2") wird an die
Kondensatleitung mittels eines Kondensatableiters (z. B. Veit
Art. Nr. 483 074 001 0 Kapselkondensatableiter 1/2")
angeschlossen.
2.2 Elektrischer Anschluß / Electrical Connection
Das Gerät ist mit einem Anschlußkabel mit Schukostecker
ausgestattet. Ein Direktanschluß ohne Stecker ist nicht zulässig.
Das Kabel muß sofort ersetzt werden, wenn es spröde und der
Schutz nicht mehr gewährleistet ist. Das kann nach längerer
Betriebsdauer durch den Einfluß des Raumklimas möglich sein.
Unfallgefahr, wenn die Isolierung am Anschlußkabel spröde
ist! Kabel ersetzen.

VEIT 7404 Postspotting Table
The postspotting table is delivered in two components:
• Base plate with mounted base unit
• Support with water-air pistol and illumination.
The support is mounted at the spotting spilltray. (The screws are
in a plastic bag, which will be found on the support).
The air-vent hose (diameter 100) is fastened with a clip at the
blow-out plinth (at the back of the unit) and is fed to the open air.
The compressed air is connected to the compressed air
maintenance unit. Set the pressure to approx. 6 bar.
The steam hose is connected to the marked connection (1/2") at
the back of the unit.
Insulate the steam connection lines
Danger from burning!
The condensate outlet of the unit (1/2") is connected by a
condensate drain (Veit Art. No. 483 074 001 0 capsule
condensate drain 1/2") to the condensate line.
The unit is equipped with a connection cable with shock-proof
plug. Don't connect the unit without using a plug.
The cable must immediately be replaced if it has become brittle
and the protection can no longer be guaranteed. This may be
caused by atmospheric conditions after a long period of
operation.
Risk of injury, if the insulation of the connection cable is
brittle! Replace the cable.

Auf der Rückseite des Gerätes befinden sich die
Druckluftwartungseinheit, der Abluftstutzen sowie die Dampf-
und Kondensatanschlüsse (1/2").
4 Betrieb / Operating
Schalter (11) einschalten.
Absaugung wird über Fußschaltleiste (10) gesteuert.
Die Dampf- und Luftmenge für die Dampf-Luftpistole (3) wird mit
den Knöpfen 12-12a eingestellt.
5 Wartung und Pflege / Service and Maintenance
Die Detachierflächen (Drahtgewebe) der Wanne und des
Ärmelholmes sind bei Bedarf mit Druckluft zu reinigen.
Das Wasserkondensat an der Wartungseinheit muss spätestens
bei Erreichung der Markierung abgelassen werden; dazu
Ablassschraube leicht öffnen.
Der Auffangbehälter für Flüssigkeit muss, wenn er halbvoll ist,
entleert werden; dazu den Auffangbehälter vom Deckel
abschrauben.
Dabei jedes Mal die Freigängigkeit der Schlauchtülle überprüfen
(Durchstoßen mittels Zahnstocher oder Ähnlichem).

On the back of the unit there are the compressed air
maintenance unit, the air-vent plinth and the steam and
condensate connections (1/2").
Switch on the main switch (11).
The suction is controlled by the kickerplate (10).
The steam and air volume for the steam-air pistol (3) is set by
the knobs 12 - 12a.
Clean the spotting surfaces (wire mesh) of the spilltray and of the
sleeve buck with compressed air, if necessary.
The water condensate at the maintenance unit must be run off
as soon as the mark is reached. To do this, open the drain screw
slightly.
The collection tank for fluid must be emptied as soon as it is halffull.
To do so, unscrew the tank from the lid.
At the same time, please check if the hose nozzle is movable
(break-through via toothpicks or something similar).
