Minutes of the 5th Persatuan Kebajikan Penduduk Taman Valeria Vindula Delias Committee Meeting held on
7th August, 2012 at 8:30p.m. at the Cabin Office.

Matters Discussed :
1) Message from Chairman
1.1 The Chairman, Mr Harindran gave his opening address.
2) Passing of previous Meeting’s Minutes
2.1 The Secretary, Mr Leow Fook Sin read the minutes of the 4th Committee Meeting
held on 3 rd July, 2012.
2.2 Minutes were passed by Mr Baljit Singh and seconded by Mr Teoh Hock Guan.
3) Treasurer’s Report
3.1 As at 30 th June, 2012, 35 residents have not paid for the 2 nd half year Security &
Maintenance Fees. 1 st reminder was sent out with dateline to settle by 21/08/12.
A final reminder will be issued with additional 2 weeks to settle.
3.2 As at 30 th June, 2012 bank balance was RM181,174.84.
3.3 There will be a slight deficit after the new increased Security rates.
4) Infrastructure’s Report
4.1 Mr Leow raised the issue of doors thrown at the park at the end of Road 26A near
the water tower. Mr Baljit said that they were from his non-paying neighbour.
4.2 Mr Leow raised the issue of the perimeter fencing at the corner of Road 26 near the
water tower. Suggested to enhance the barb wires as it is a weak link to our
perimeter fencing.
4.3 Mr Leow raised the issue of missing manhole covers at Road 26 near the water
tower. Suggested to Mr Jimmy to cover-up with concrete slabs instead.
4.4 Mr Leow raised the issue of the low gates of the bungalow neighbours at Road 26.
Mr Teoh reported that most of the bungalows guarded. However, one unit under
renovation was highlighted as a weak link to our perimeter fencing as anybody could

walk in through the unlock main gate and climb into our Taman. Additional
concern was bungalow owners having free access to our Taman.
There were suggestions to build a new fence to prevent non-residents from coming in.
4.5 Mr Jagjeet to help Jimmy in getting contractors for repair and maintenance jobs.
4.6 Highlighted that Road 26B has cracked.
4.7 Issue of barb wires at end of Road 26 near the semi-detached was raised where
residents requested additional barb wires to be installed. Committee agreed that any
additional work should be first approved. However, additional barb wires were
in the progress of being installed as part of the current work package which has not
completed yet.
4.8 The approved speed bump at T-junction of Road 26A was deleted for the convenience
of the residents and the ‘No Parking’ signboards are to be maintained.
5) Security’s Report
5.1 Change of new Security Company on 1 st Sept. was discussed.
5.2 Proposed to have an additional guard at night from 12 midnight till 6.00am.
5.3 Mr Baljit raised the subject on the tuition center at 58/26A was raised and was
agreed to get neighbours to sign petition before taking any actions.
5.4 To apply to TNB to fix additional street lamps at the back of Road 26 along
The jogging track.
6) Others
6.1 Approved installation of Hari Raya lightings at the Guard House at RM2,100.00.
There being no other matters to discuss, the Meeting was adjourned at 10.35pm.
