FOREWARD The <strong>Cooperation</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Cambodia</strong> (CCC) is pleased to announce that the <strong>2009</strong> CCC <strong>Directory</strong> <strong>of</strong> Networking, Membership and Sectoral Groups in <strong>Cambodia</strong> is available <strong>for</strong> members as well as <strong>for</strong> the entire NGO community and the general public. This <strong>Directory</strong> has proven to be an invaluable tool in accessing updated in<strong>for</strong>mation on specific <strong>sector</strong>s, resources and organizations committed to working together <strong>for</strong> the development <strong>of</strong> <strong>Cambodia</strong>. The <strong>2009</strong> <strong>Directory</strong> provides details on 32 different working groups/networks currently active in <strong>Cambodia</strong>. These groups meet to discuss, collaborate, exchange in<strong>for</strong>mation and move <strong>for</strong>ward on issues <strong>of</strong> common concern. In general, these groups aim to strengthen coordination ef<strong>for</strong>ts in the development community, improve in<strong>for</strong>mation sharing, and contribute to Government planning and policy development. The composition <strong>of</strong> each group varies, and participants include International and <strong>Cambodia</strong>n NGOs, government ministries, departments and <strong>of</strong>ficials, members <strong>of</strong> other International Organizations, and grassroots community and farming groups. This latest edition includes detailed in<strong>for</strong>mation on each <strong>sector</strong>/working group, including their objectives, main activities, participating organizations and important contact in<strong>for</strong>mation. Additional in<strong>for</strong>mation is included as appendices such as an annual meeting schedule, a group contact list table, contact in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>of</strong> participating organizations and application <strong>for</strong>m to register in this directory. Please note that in<strong>for</strong>mal <strong>sector</strong>al groups have not been included in this directory. Every ef<strong>for</strong>t has been made to ensure accuracy <strong>of</strong> the in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>of</strong> this directory, omissions and errors may unintentionally occur during the lead time toward final publication. CCC there<strong>for</strong>e seeks the readership and user <strong>of</strong> this directory full understanding in the event <strong>of</strong> misin<strong>for</strong>mation.
