<strong>The</strong> <strong>RX</strong> <strong>imola</strong> <strong>clinical</strong> <strong>analyser</strong> offers an impressive range of time-saving,<br />

labour-saving and cost-saving features. It is capable of 400 photometric<br />

tests per hour, 250 ISE tests per hour. <strong>The</strong> <strong>RX</strong> <strong>imola</strong> is a true random access<br />

<strong>analyser</strong>: tests can be processed in any order and stat samples are analysed<br />

immediately. Dedicated software ensures the <strong>RX</strong> <strong>imola</strong> is straightforward to<br />

operate with a clear and logical display layout. <strong>The</strong> comprehensive range<br />

of reagents includes dedicated, liquid and one-shot reagents. <strong>The</strong> <strong>RX</strong> <strong>imola</strong><br />

is fully supported by Randox reagents, calibrators, controls, quality control<br />

software and the RIQAS EQA programmes.<br />

In many respects the <strong>RX</strong> <strong>imola</strong> is a bigger brother of the well-established<br />

and popular <strong>RX</strong> daytona. Both are fully automated benchtop <strong>clinical</strong><br />

<strong>analyser</strong>s. Both use the same reagents, same controls, same calibrators<br />

and same software. However, the <strong>RX</strong> <strong>imola</strong> is more than just a faster version<br />

of the <strong>RX</strong> daytona. Additional features have been included to make the <strong>RX</strong><br />

<strong>imola</strong> even more user-friendly and versatile. <strong>The</strong>se include refrigerated storage<br />

of controls and calibrators and improved access for stat samples.<br />

<strong>The</strong> <strong>RX</strong> <strong>imola</strong> offers <strong>RX</strong> series convenience and flexibility as a stand-alone<br />

system in medium-sized laboratories. In larger laboratories the <strong>RX</strong> <strong>imola</strong><br />

can be used as a stat system, a back-up system or a special chemistry<br />

system solely for lipids, diabetes, specific proteins or TDM testing.
