three of our finest derby veterans retired after the 2012 season.

To the husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends & children of Derby Girls, who we collectively refer
to as “Derby Widows United”. your love and support is priceless!
The rookies would like to say thanks to all the Eves who helped pick us up, rough us up and dust
us off for this epic first season ahead. Raw Meat and Fresh Meat wouldn’t have been the same
without all the great tips and hits from you Vets-so thanks!
The Margarita Villains would like to personally thank our bout coach, Skank Zappa, and our bench
manager, Shortcake. You guys rock! We’d also like to send out a very special thank you to our
newly retired, gone-but-not-forgotten Villains, Bulldozer “Bully” McDonald, Calamity Carnage
a.k.a. Clam, Crimson Reign, Naulty by Nature, Turbine, Turbo and fellow Eve Leah Tard. We will
miss you and it was an honour to skate with you.
To Clam who started our league way back in 2006 and has been the driving force since day one.
We wouldn’t be here today without all of her hard work, dedication and love for the sport. We
cannot express the special place this woman has in our hearts!
