Columbia Paint warrants that for fifteen years from the date of
purchase, WOODTECH Solid Color 100% Acrylic Latex Stain will
provide a protective and decorative finish when applied and cared for
in accordance with label directions, under normal wear and exposure
conditions.
Performance covered by this warranty, where two coats are applied
on properly prepared surfaces (plus one primer undercoat where
recommended — see product label for details), includes durability (will not
erode or expose the substrate), washability (normal dirt and deposits
can be removed), and resistance to flaking, peeling, scaling, checking,
widespread cracking and excessive chalking. This warranty excludes
stain applied to exterior plywood surfaces.
If WOODTECH Solid Color 100% Acrylic Latex Stain fails to
perform as warranted, Columbia Paint will, with proof of purchase,
replace the stain or refund the purchase price. This warranty provides only
for the replacement or refund of the purchase price and does not
include costs of labor for removal or re-staining or other incidental or
consequential damages. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitations
of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may
not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you
may have other rights that vary from state to state.
Columbia Paint warrants that for five years from the date of
purchase, WOODTECH Semi-Transparent Waterborne or Oil/Alkyd
U.V. Stain is guaranteed against peeling when applied and cared for
in accordance with label directions.
If WOODTECH Semi-Transparent U.V. Stain fails to perform as
warranted, Columbia Paint will, with proof of purchase, replace the
stain or refund the purchase price. This warranty provides only for
the replacement or refund of the purchase price and does not
include costs of labor for removal or re-staining or other incidental
or consequential damages. Some states do not allow exclusion
or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above

Semi-Transparent Oil/Alkyd and Waterborne U.V. Stain
(08-700 & 09-700)
• Penetrates the wood surface to protect against entrance of moisture
and contaminants.
• Resists moisture-related damage such as swelling, warping, and
grain cracking.
• Resists the damaging effects of sunlight.
• Ideal for use on new wood siding, decks, railings, sills, fences, and other
bare exterior wood surfaces.
• Note: Clear and light colored stains will not retard the natural weathering
characteristics of wood.

Semi-Solid Oil/Alkyd Stain (08-600)
• Protects against entrance of moisture and contaminants into the wood pores.
• Resists moisture-related damage such as swelling, warping, and
grain cracking.
• Resists the damaging effects of sunlight.
• Provides hide yet allows natural texture to show.
• Perfect for wood siding, knotty woods, unevenly colored or previously
stained woods, and much more.
• Note: Not recommended for decks, railings or horizontal surfaces.
Solid-Color Oil/Alkyd Stain (08-400)
• Dries to a flat finish that provides high hide and coverage without
masking the natural surface profile of the substrate.
• Provides superior adhesion over previous coatings and is self-priming
over bare wood.
• Offers excellent water resistance and color retention, and provides
durable exterior protection.
• Ideal for use over a variety of properly prepared wood surfaces.
For best results, Columbia recommends using WOODTECH
Wood Cleaner and Brightener to restore grayed and weathered
exterior wood surfaces and remove unsightly discolorations
prior to staining.
If removal of semi-transparent stain or oxidized clear coats or
sealers is needed, use WOODTECH Exterior Finish Remover,
followed by Wood Cleaner and Brightener.
Wood Cleaner and Brightener (11-100)
• Restores grayed and weathered exterior wood surfaces.

Exterior Finish Remover (11-105)
• Easy to use on outdoor wood siding, fences and decks.
