Applicant Subscriber, individual that applies for a certificate. Either<br />
for themselves or for others.<br />
CA-certificate A certificate for a <strong>Certification</strong> Authority's public key<br />
Certificate Policy (CP) Compare section 1.1<br />
<strong>Certification</strong> Authority (CA) <strong>Root</strong> <strong>PKI</strong> Authority, compare chapter 1.3.1.<br />
<strong>Certification</strong> Service Provider Provider of <strong>Certification</strong> Services<br />
Cross-certificate Certificate used to affirm a trusted relationship between<br />
two CAs<br />
D-<strong>TRUST</strong> <strong>Root</strong> CA <strong>Root</strong> <strong>Certification</strong> Authority, existing in the categories<br />
class 3, class 2 and class 1; compare chapter 1.3.1.<br />
D-<strong>TRUST</strong>-<strong>Root</strong>-<strong>PKI</strong> D-<strong>TRUST</strong> GMBH implemented Public Key Infrastructure<br />
Directory Service <strong>PKI</strong>-service for online access of information pertaining to<br />
certificates and CRLs; commonly realized through the<br />
