Error Analysis and Plausibility Testing of Production
Messages with GEFEG.FX
Enhanced and user-defined test procedures for business Logic
(Duration: 1 day)
When new communication partners are connected, the testing phase plays an important role
and often means to invest much time and effort. In order to reduce these efforts considerably,
future data transmitters may run self tests of outbound messages with GEFEG.FX or with the
GEFEG.Validation.Portal.
The basis for a successful testing phase is a detailed and unambiguous implementation
guideline. As an addition to the standard syntax check, GEFEG.FX enables you to define
semantic rules of the inherent business logic in order to enhance your tests with plausibility
checks. The large set of functions for plausibility checks in GEFEG.FX include a formal
plausibility language and the definition of user-defined error messages.
This training class teaches you how to integrate plausibility checks in your implementation
guideline and how to check whether your messages comply with these rules. Beside the
presentation of the basic concepts of testing business logic, hands-on exercises and test runs
of test scenarios with GEFEG.FX and the GEFEG.Validation.Portal play a prominent part in
the training.
