Inspired by an idea 10 years ago, the Harder German Junior Masters, a worldwide movement has developed 

with its own tour (World Junior Golf Series) for juniors. In recent years, qualifying in these events 

has become more and more dicult for the juniors. 

The goal of the WJGS in 2013 is to enable as many players as possible to attend in the WJGS tournaments. 

This year for the rst time qualifying tournaments through out the world will take place for WJGS tournaments.

WJGS Qualier (3 skill levels): 

- 1. Stage: 5 venues with 120 players (80 boys / 40 girls) 

- 2. Stage: 29/05/2013, 1 Venue, 105 players (70 boys / 35 girls) 

- 3. Stage: 25/07/2013 (AmAm), 1 Venue, 36 players (24 boys / 12 girls) 

For all 3 stages the course catering and tee gift is included. Moreover, after the round a meal and a drink 

are included. 

The 3. Stage will be held as AmAm. Here, as well the exclusive on course catering and the evening event, 

the evening entertainment -as a kitchen party- in the „schwarz Das Restaurant“ above the roofs of Heidelberg, 

is included. 

Prizes for the winners of the 3. Stage: 

1. Gross girls & boys get a 1 year exemption for all WJGS tournaments including Harder German Junior 

2 - 4 Gross boys get a place at the event Harder German Junior 

2. Gross girl gets a place at the event Harder German Junior 

(For the winners of the 3. Stage the accommodation costs for WJGS tournaments are accepted. Inquiry for 

ight expenses sponsoring to the respective WJGS tournaments please contact the agency A.R. Events) 

Participants, who play in the Qualiers will receive ranking points for the World Junior Golf Ranking.

The 1st Stage 

The rst level of qualication will be held at 5 venues, each with maximum 120 participants (80 boys / 40 

girls). The 1st Stage is a stroke play with 18 holes. 

At each venue 14 best gross boys and 7 best gross girls will qualify for the 2nd Stage. 

The 2nd Stage 

is limited to a total of 105 participants, from which, in turn, 24 boys and 12 girls qualify for the 3rd Stage 

(participation in the AmAm). 

The 3rd Stage 

will be held in the form of an AmAm, where participants can earn Qualifying status. 

In an exclusive setting program participants, selected sponsors and fans of WJGS have the opportunity 

to get to know their ight partners during and after the tournament. Finally 4 boys and 2 girls will receive 

qualifying status: 

First Gross (girl and boy) receives an annual tournament for approval WJGS tournaments worldwide. 

4 Gross boys, and 2 Gross girls receive a guaranteed starting place for HGJ.

Played according to the ocial rules of golf (including Amateur Status) of the German Golf Federation and 

the local rules. 

The tournament is organized according of the EGA Handicap system and to the Conditions and Competition 

of the German Golf Federation. 

b. Closing date: 

10 days before the start of the tournament of each stage. 

c. Eligibility: 

Stage 1: 

Amateurs of all nations and Golf Association membership (boys and girls) with max. age of 19 years. 

Please note: nal qualiers are only eligible to play for the respective tournament of WJGS with the born in 

1994 and later for the current calendar year. Players born in 1995 or later are eligible to play for the current 

calendar year and the following year. 

Stage 2 (29/05/2013): 

Qualied amateurs of Stage 1 

Stage 3 (AmAm, 25/07/2013): 

Qualied amateurs of Stage 2 

d. Handicap limits / maximum number of entries: 

Entry Handicap: 

Girls: handicap to - 19.9 

Boys: handicap to - 15.9 

Maximum number of participants per venue Stage 1: 

40 girls, 80 boys 

The organizer reserves the right to alter the number of participants. 

Each player can participate max. in 2 tournament of Stage 1. 

The entry fee is to be paid hereby per participation (max. two times).

If more than this number of entries is submitted, the highest handicap players will be omitted. 

Players, who could be aected by a reduction of the entries, should report the update of their handicap 

to the agency A.R. Events by the closing date. In case the player fails to meet the deadline for updating his 

handicap, the setting of the eld will be according to the Handicap, which the agency A.R. Events called 

up to the deadline last. 

By equal handicaps draw will be chosen at random. 

Wild Cards: The host Golf Club has the right to award ve wild cards for players declared. 

As member of the host Golf Club have declared in 2013, unless the maximum number of participants has 

not been reached by regular applications. 

The handicap limit of the wild card holder must be at the closing date: max. -28 

e. Tee Times 

Tee 1 or tee 1 and 10, depending on the number of players and specication of the host golf club with 

ascending handicaps for boys and girls. 

f. Host / Ratings: 

Individual stroke play over 18 holes scratch separate gross score for girls and boys. 

At the same results for the rst place and other placements decides the better overall result 9 of the holes 

played, the selection according to the degree of diculty distribution of the requirements (1, 18, 3, 16, 5, 

14, 7, 12, 9). Upon further equity the better result among the 6 most dicult holes (1, 18, 3, 16, 5, 14, then 

1, 18, 3) and nally the hardest hole. On further, by lottery. 

The gross girls and boys winner will qualify as described above.

Following costs will be covered by the respective tournaments WJGS: 

Hotel accommodation with breakfast in the host hotel 

Transportation service from and to the airport and golf course 

Attendance of side event

IMPORTANT! Qualiers are not exempt of the WJGS membership fee of €125 to be paid one-time, an annual 

fee for all WJGS tournaments) before the closing date of the respective WJGS Tournament. (Please go

The announcement for the tee boxes for each qualifying tournament will be posted by the competition 

committee at the host golf club.

i. Competition committee 

Competition committee (minimum 3 people) will be selected by the hosting DGV member, whose names 

will be posted at the venue. 

j. Registration and Registration fee: 

Registration only online on the qualifying pages of the WJGS and HGJ (a WJGS event) websites. 

(Registration fee: 165 €) 

For cancellations after registration: the obligation to pay the entry fee still remains. 

For the 3rd Stage (AmAm): 

The 36 qualiers will experience an exclusive on course catering during the tournament and an unforgettable 

evening with star chef cook Manfred Schwarz. 

The evening entertainment -as a kitchen party- in the »schwarz Das Restaurant« will take place above the 

roofs of Heidelberg. „Looking over the shoulder of the chef cook you will enjoy a delightful prepared menu 

served for you with a spectacular view. “ (Manfred Schwarz)

Cancellations of qualiers from I.-II. Stage: 

In case of a cancellation of a qualier of the 1st Stage, the next place nisher qualies of each qualifying 

place or golf clubs. This procedure applies to the tournament. 

Cancellations from qualiers of II.-III. Stage: 

In case of a cancellation of the 2nd Stage, qualied is the respective next-place. This method applies until 

the tournament.
