iSAQB and ITech Progress
A consolidated knowledge about Software Architecture
is an essential factor of success in software
projects. The International Software Architecture
Qualification Board (iSAQB) is an association
of Software Architecture Specialists. This board is
the first provider of an internationally accepted advanced
training for Software Architecture.
The training Certified Professional for Software
Architecture Foundation Level supplies the necessary
knowledge and skills to design and document
a Software Architecture based on sufficiently detailed,
specified requirements that address the problem.
It is the foundation for the implementation
and serves as a template. Participants learn how to
use the tools and based upon their knowledge decide
on a design that relates to a particular problem.
ITech Progress is one of the few companies which
are authorized to offer Software Architecture trainings
with a certification compliant to the iSAQB
standard. ITech Progress gets involved with the development
of training content and is a sustaining
member of the iSAQB.
iSAQB CPSA-F Training
Our training for the iSAQB Foundation Level imparts
the necessary knowledge and skills to develop
and document software architecture for small and
medium systems. At the end of this training you
will have the tools to make issue related design decisions
on basis of acquired practical experiences.
The acquired knowledge is a solid foundation for
passing the CPSA-F test.

The accomplishment of the training is carried out

• fundamental terms of Software Architectures
• specification and communication of Software

• State-of-the-Art measures and techniques in
developing Software Architecture
• tools for Software Architects
• tasks and responsibilities of an Software
Architect
• role of Software Architects in projects
• examples for Software Architectures
Besides technological aspects, organizational and
social factors are also integral part of the training.
The participants will learn the following in the accredited
training Certfied Professional for Software
Architecture - Foundation Level:
• deciding about critical software architectur
with other participants of the project - from
Requirement Management to Project Management,
Testing and Development.
• documenting and communicating Software
Architecture based on views, architectural
patterns and technical concepts.
• understanding the most important steps in
the design of Software Architecture and how
to apply them independently for smaller and
medium-sized systems.
