This letter speaks for itself. And apropos of quacks, a real quack in the
worst sense of the word is the man who professes to cure what he
knows he cannot cure. Before it became illegal for me to treat cancer, I
never once professed to cure anyone after he or she had been
subjected to radium treatment. Cancer itself was child's play to deal
with in ccmparison to the after‐effects of radium, and had I offered any
hope of curing these I should have been a quack imposter of the most
bare‐faced type.
