OBITUARIES
M.J.Brent
It is with regret that we note the passing of Mitchell James Brent. Mitch tragically died in a car
accident on 12 March aged 21. He came to Wynnum after having learned his cricket at Church of
England Grammar School where he captained his final year. He first played for Wynnum in the
under 18’s in 2003 where he scored a fine 103 in the close fought semi final against Toombul. He
played in third, fourth and fifth grades in the current season where he scored 252 runs. He will be
sorely missed by his many clubmates. We offer our sincere sympathy to Mitch’s family.
