1. Terms <strong>of</strong> Reference<br />

1.1 To review the <strong>University</strong> Statutes and to recommend any changes or additions to Council<br />

for approval; and<br />

1.2 To propose any changes to the <strong>City</strong> <strong>University</strong> Ordinance required as a result <strong>of</strong><br />

modifications to the Statutes.<br />

1. Terms <strong>of</strong> Reference<br />

1.1 To prepare and review the mission and core values <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong> for the Council’s<br />

consideration;<br />

1.2 To work with the President to prepare the draft strategic plan for the Council’s approval;<br />

1.3 To work with the President to prepare the master plan for the development <strong>of</strong> the<br />

<strong>University</strong> campuses;<br />

1.4 Together with the President, to review, from time to time, the organisational philosophy<br />

and structure <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong>;<br />

1.5 To formulate the methodology for resource allocation within the <strong>University</strong>;<br />

1.6 To recommend to the Council the levels <strong>of</strong> delegation within the <strong>University</strong>;<br />

1.7 To review, and recommend to Council, the long term overall deployment <strong>of</strong> resources,<br />

both recurrent and capital funding, and to ensure that the deployment <strong>of</strong> these resources is<br />

consistent with the strategic objectives <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong>; and<br />

1.8 To review plans for the development <strong>of</strong> the outreach activities <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong>, including<br />

continuing education, consultancy, etc.<br />
