Description of the <strong>Change</strong>: : In an effort to make our product line more compatible with<br />
regulatory and environmental guidelines, we are changing the volume manufacturing process for<br />
our products to make them RoHS compliant according to <strong>Aavid</strong> Thermalloy specification RoHS<br />
9000. (Available at http://www.aavidthermalloy.com/RoHS.shtml ).<br />
The current version of this product uses a die to color the product green. This green die<br />
contains cadmium. The RoHS version of the product uses a cadmium free green die. <strong>Product</strong><br />
made using this new die is identified with a "G" suffix at the end of the part number as shown<br />
above in <strong>Product</strong>s Affected.<br />

Volume <strong>Product</strong>ion: Volume production is available now.<br />
New orders should be placed for the “G” suffix product. Please adjust your current orders<br />
so that they can be filled accordingly depending upon stock and availability.<br />
EOL of Unchanged <strong>Product</strong>: Manufacturing has been converted to the RoHS compliant<br />
process, it is no longer possible to manufacture products with non-compliant materials.<br />
Customer Impact: All mechanical, electrical and thermal properties remain unchanged. A slight<br />
change in appearance may be noticeable.<br />
