"Our son Ross has been coming with us to <strong>Linda</strong>'s concerts for the past 7 years since he was 6 years old! When<br />
we were at the Ordway Music Theatre a number of years ago, when Jake was just a baby, <strong>Linda</strong> brought Jake on<br />
stage near the end of the show and Ross said "Wow, how exciting, Mom. <strong>Linda</strong> named her baby boy Jake, my<br />
best friend's name!" A couple of years ago, <strong>Linda</strong> looked at Ross (we were in the front row of the pit) and said, "I<br />
look at you and I think of my son and miss him."<br />
Ross is now 14 years old and he says, "In the beginning when I was 6 years old, I remember <strong>Linda</strong> looking<br />
at me in the first row and mentioning how nice it was that children would come and see her sing. Then after she<br />
had Jake (who just happens to have the same name as my best friend), <strong>Linda</strong> would look at me the next few<br />
years and say I reminded her that she missed her own little boy — I don't know if she recognizes me anymore,<br />
but we are still in the front row each year and I will continue to come hear her sing, because her voice is so<br />
beautiful. Especially, last year, on my 13th birthday, <strong>Linda</strong> was in concert here in Minneapolis and it was so<br />
special for me, my mom and dad and my godfather! I hope to be able to enjoy <strong>Linda</strong>'s concerts for many more<br />
years to come!"
